Precisely. As Gandhi said; an eye for an eye leaves us all blind. Justifying misdeeds of one party on the basis that another once did the same is incredible.
He is also reported as having answered the question "what do you think of Western civilisation?" with "I think it would be a very good idea."irocfan said:

It's a simple enough question, from your statement it sounds like you do...However, watching one side get all hot-under-the-collar about something that they themselves did for many-many decades I find amusing.

Happen Kareem thinks Lee Rigbys barbaric murder on an English Street was a bit of "payback" too ?
Maybe it amused him
It didn't me. I found it barbaric and horrific.
I really, really thought it might just mark a turning point
But it seems not.
People who express themselves as Kareem Does only arouse suspicion in others that he has an agenda.
I admit I do. I want RADICAL ISLAMIST SUPPORTERS and those who turn a blind eye to them wiping out
They threaten the existence of this country
If that makes me a racist it bothers me not one bit.

difference being years ago we had different standards in what was acceptable and what not - time has moved on
yes, & most people have too.Nobody moves on whilst they still feel aggrieved.

I have not read your posts but give you this......Nobody moves on whilst they still feel aggrieved.
There have been many wars over the past 100 years, many people displaced, ethnic cleansing etc
Just think of the millions killed in WW2 by the Nazis or terrible war crimes of the Japanese.
Maybe think of the Christian Greek Cypriots displaced by the Muslim Turks.
The Islamic fundementalists belong in the 15th century, they do no favours to the great majority of Muslims that just want to get on with their lives in peace.

So the bloke who keeps on saying "whitey" now agrees that he's a racist.I don't think you're saying anything that some of us hadn't thought anyway.
The reference to whitey has been explained before it was a thruway line and I wasn't the first to mention it
I do it in the context that a lot of English people are fed up of being patronised and told there is nothing to worry about when plainly there is.
But that's not the real issue is it with you. You seem to group a person who is opposed to RADICAL ISLAMISTS as being a racist.
the fact that you cannot differentiate suggests how twisted your thinking really is
As you are out of here (and I wonder just who it is with a similar writing style that used to say that when he was hacked of ?) you probably won't reply so I wish you the best and hope that you and your family are able to live long and happy lives

True and were I a Muslim I'm sure thats how I'd feel too.
That is how the majority of people of any religion think.Unfortunately Fundamentalists of any religion by definition are fanatics.
Their fanaticism breeds concern and mistrust in other communities.
This then leads to a general mistrust in that whole community eg. The current mistrust in Muslims generally.
This then leads to that whole community, feeling threatened, entrenching and closing in on itself, giving the fundementalists more opportunity to spread their backward ideology.
A vicious cycle, that can only be resolved by a condemnation, by all, of all fundementalist ideologies.

To be fair, your constant linking to 'screamers' from the tabloid press does make it look like you've got a bit of an agenda, IMHO.The reference to whitey has been explained before it was a thruway line and I wasn't the first to mention it

Well If the agenda is to highlight the undermining of society by radical islamists then yep I plead guilty to posting such stuff in a thread called "Islam and The West
You mean like this one that affects an area I LIVE IN for example:
People in Brum knew it was going on and it took a considerable while before REAL action took place.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-28419901
Teachers could face misconduct inquiries, she told the House of Commons, after Mr Clarke's report found a social media group called the "Park View Brotherhood" used by male senior staff at Park View School.
'Anti-western'
Mr Clarke's report said this included "grossly intolerant" messages.
He said the social media messages included "explicit homophobia; highly offensive comments about British service personnel; a stated ambition to increase segregation in the school; disparagement of strands of Islam; scepticism about the truth of reports of the murder of Lee Rigby and the Boston bombings; and a constant undercurrent of anti-western, anti-American and anti-Israeli sentiment".

As regards your IMHO and "obsessed" its a little rich coming from someone who posted several times requiring a response to a totally irrelevant question you posed.
You mean you can't see any parallels between British Muslims fighting in Syria and British communists fighting in the Spanish Civil War?Second complaints were made to a school

Trouble is the ' screamers' are now teachers and others in what should be respected positions in society. They ain't no idiots walking Oxford Street with ' The end of the world is nigh ' which you can ignore, some of these are very dangerous and poisonous people who once again can't leave the kids alone. If someone looks like they have a bit of an agenda in linking such news reports, it's equally countered by those who will ignore such a story for fear as being seen a some how racist should they comment and try and taint others who do. I can be wary of both types, they are equally as suspect.
