Ah and the other puppet comes out to play, reminds me of the film Dumb and Dumber.

Once again where did I say a one state solution????
If there's one puppet here, in the sense of a person being manipulated by propaganda, it has to be you. You've swallowed the Israel tale more than Shalom, more than Benny Gantz! rofl

Give us your solution, then.
I would not have the arrogance to assume that I, a mere pleb in society, could solve the Israel/Arab problems where many distinguish and experienced politicians in the UN and around the world have failed. But you may feel free.

I don't believe I can solve it. But that doesn't mean I can't propose possible solutions on an Internet forum! No balls, Grumfutock, like your mate Netanyahu.

I don't know what will solve the problem as its difficult to have any sort of reasoning with religious nutjobs of any description.

A quick question for our two 'loudest' friends.....

Do you both actually want peace?
I can't speak for Mr.Lazy, but, yes.

I've suggested two models: the first, the UN 1967 proposal with Jerusalem and maybe Hebron as city states under UN control. The second, a one state solution, "Palisrael" votes for all, a homeland for all Jews, a right of return for all Palestinian refugees.

Slaav said:
A second question, do you want peace on your own terms or fk you?

A third question, would you be prepared to accept a negotiated settlement and peace even if it didn't give you everything that you want or would prefer?
I'm not in a position to decide! But, sure, peace will involve the giving of ground on both sides. This, strangely (or not) is why I tend to favour the one state solution: everyone in the same boat, no-where to run and hide. The Palestinians will have something to lose other than their lives.

Does that help?
Agreed.

However the jews do not want peace.

I always relate the Palestine/Israel crisis to two brothers.

The older child became very jealous when the second child in the house was born. He would squabble and fight with his younger brother when he was given the greater affection. The older boy seemed like his position was threatened and would then always want to 'prove' he was better. He would want to prove he was 'cleverer', 'smarter', and therefore a much better asset than his younger brother.

The Apprentice is a show which is shown in the UK. At times when they are squabbling over who is the better candidate - it always makes me sad and reminiscent of the Palestine war. Where Israel believes itself to be superior and greater than the Palestine and so therefore simply bullies the world into believing that Palestinians should not exist at all.

Makes sense in my head....just hope it makes sense here.

Why can't Israel just stop building settlements?
Why do the jews need more land? Are they really that greedy, they need all of it.

If they actually helped Palestine instead of killing them then maybe that could be a start. Hope about instead of spending millions on bombs you spend millions on schools?

I truly hope for peace in the Middle East. Not because I feel sympathy for the Palestinians (I really couldn't give a fk about them or their meaningless historical claims) but mainly because it might finally bring this pointless, meandering, dull-arsed thread to an end.
Do you really have to come here? The real Joey Ramone would have either walked out or brought some excitement to the party. Che cazzo!

I couldn't give two hoots what he would or wouldn't have done, although he didn't appear to give a st about land rights in the so called occupied territories. So fk off back to your meaningless quibbling. I'm sure the Palestinians are terribly grateful for your keyboard warrior antics. Which appear to be accomplishing precisely twice the square root of fk all.

Slightly off topic, but Al Jazeera are supposed to be screening the documentary "The Day Israel Attacked America" tonight: about the mysterious Israeli attack on the USS Liberty (US Navy sigint ship) during the 6 Day War. It's said to contain the first broadcast of the Israeli pilots' communications.

Well on possible solution would be to nuke Gaza and the West Bank. Problem goes away.

Maybe nuking Jerusalem is the answer.
If no-one can have it there's no point fighting about it.

Well, the non-believers might favour such a solution. Still, I think that religious Jews might rise up and join the Muslims and Christians in slaughtering the perpetrators.

Wouldn't it be a bit like winning the love of a beautiful woman by amputating your penis?

Probably not. More Chicken-st's twitchy finger!

An only slightly less daft solution:

Secret despatch from Israeli Government to a prison somewhere in Turkey: "Dear Heval of the PKK, we realise we have accidentally invaded your former Sultanate. We invite your immediate return. There are pesky Arabs here, but we think you will be able to convert them all into good Marxists (and, remember, Karl was one of us). Perhaps you could prevail on your Iraqi brothers to keep sending the oil?

PS. We love the variety of Keffiyeh your female warriors wear: much more fun than the white and black ones Yasser brought into vogue.

Regards, Bibi."

Remember, though, that Jerusalem is the most important shrine for Jews and Christians. It's only a poor third for Muslims.

Take Jerusalem out of the equation and you've still got the rest of the country to fight about.
