But it doesn't really explain why Hamas has such piss poor weaponry. Most of it could be made by a small engineering workshop and Israel's UXBs provide plenty of explosive.

Does the rich Arab world supply weapons and arms to Hamas??? You know, that peace loving religion and those peace loving terrorists.
I seriously doubt (rather, I know as a fact), that the Grad is not made in Gaza.
Grumfuttock - can you please just copy and paste the following into a post. This will enable you to get out more, live a life, and maybe learn something. it will also save the rest of us from banging our heads against a brick wall.
"I will never change my mind, despite any new evidence that is given to me. Anything that is critical of Israel is a lie. Israel and the IDF can do no wrong, Hammas and the Palestinians are all evil terrorists and must learn to do as they are told, and accept everything that Israel does. I am not open to any argument, and anyone who does not share my views are supporters of Terrorism".

I have already said this many, many times throughout this thread. Did you not bother to read it? It isn't hard to follow. Or perhaps you see it differently, possibly along these lines:
"I support everything that the terrorists do because I am a tree hugging apologist for murderers. Anything that Israel does, I will instantly and without any consideration to Israel's viewpoint, consider an act of aggression against the peace loving people of Palestine. All they want is peace and have no interest in destroying Israel, that is all propaganda spread by the IDF. No kindly pass me a hoody to hug as I wish to show the world that I am right on and really hip".

However I will continue to read this thread, as I find the majority of posts, and the arguments and views expressed, generally interesting and informative, and they have enabled me to see the arguments from both sides. Whereas yours are simply repetitive, blinkered statements of support for Israel.

Ah I see. What you mean is you find the pro Hamas post interesting seeing I have been the only pro Israel poster since August. So am I wrong???? Answer the question!!!

Yes, the rich Arab world supplies arms to Hamas (although, comparing Hamas' Grads to Peshmerga Grads, they seem one hell of a lot smaller -- I think there's a lot of backstreet manufacture going on). I seriously doubt (rather, I know as a fact), that the Grad is not made in Gaza.
And the rich Western world supplies fighter jets, submarines, helicopters and ordinance to Israel.
Happy?

I think we can now see Grumfutock for what he is. Hug away old chap.
We were expecting (or hoping for) a rational explanation of Israel's actions.
What we see is a child's unconditional love. Much the same unthinking support as we'd see from a member of the Hitler Youth.
This isn't about Israelis, or Palestinians, Hamas or the IDF, nor about the best interests of any of the parties or peoples involved. It's simply the statement of undying romantic love from an old school militaristic nationalist. Almost like the love child of Nietzsche and Bismark wrapped in the star of David.

I suspect you are mistaking "Peshmerga Grads" with Hamas Qassams. Qassams are a DIY, build your own terror weapon designed to be easily made in a garage but only accurate enough to aim at cities. A Grad (BM-21) is a 122mm military grade rocket designed to be fired as part of a multi rocket launcher although Hamas have been firing them singularly. Far more deadlier and with greater range although still fairly inaccurate and therefore classed as a terror weapon.

Wow the Nazi reference!!! And from somebody who got hyper sensitive when I mentioned a bacon sandwich! We were expecting (or hoping for) a rational explanation of Israel's actions.

How dare you be so arrogant to assume that I haven't considered my view point or opinion.
This isn't about blind love or an idea that hasn't been thought out. It isn't unthinkingly following some nationalist idea. What you see is a grown man, educated and travelled (I suspect far wider than yourself), who has an opinion opposite to yours.
My opinion is based on seeing many cultures, many parts of the globe and many, many idiots who thought they could impose their will by violence and bullying i.e. terrorists. Sadly these days there is a niche market for voicing support for these idiot groups, it has become very chic and in. I consider your blind hatred of Israel to be something more than this though. It is very concerning that you seem to spend your days trawling through the anti Israel media to find stories and propaganda to post on here to back this hatred up.
A bully only understands one thing and that is a person or nation that stands up to them. Old rule but it has never changed. Deny a country the right to exist and you expect them to go mildly into the night? I think not.

Surely Grads (or an Israeli version) were just what Israel was using to deliver cluster munitions (another terror weapon) on South Lebanon? Any weapon can be a terror weapon. Supply Hamas with more wire guided anti tank missiles and accurate surface to surface missiles and I'm sure the IDF would be really, really happy. (What's that hole in my tank? Why didn't it just bounce off?)
Still, there is no viable military solution to this conflict.
Once again Palestinian citizens of Israel exposed the country's lack of a meaningful democracy.
Aljazeera is carrying this.
Protest against Israel? How dare (non Jewish) Israeli citizens do such a thing! Let them auto-ethnic cleanse themselves!

Deny a people the right to their own country. Do you expect them to go quietly? The Zionists didn't expect that! Who is the bully, really? The nuclear super power or the stateless people it wants to expel?
If we see it in Hamas vs IDF terms, who is the more effective terrorist?
From my perspective, both sides can create something great: one country, equal rights for all, a land for Jews and Arabs, Muslims, Druze, Christians, Atheists.
If I understand your perspective, there is only surrender or the IDF meat grinder on the table.
