And don't be so quick to think I am accusing you of lying! Maybe not lying, simply mistaken.
Wink wink!

If Palestine got nationhood and then attacked Israel what would the world response be?

Voight Kampff, I cant speak for the UN in Israel, all I can tell you is about my time serving with and working for 3 UN missions. They were offered and took bribes. I saw it myself. Reports will not be written because it is dealt with individually by the respective military, in the cases I saw, RMP and SIB. I know a fair few who did it and a few that got caught.

Was this 'corruption' endemic or prolific?

Deal with the silly, deflective response, heval! wink

I'd simply point out that:

1. Peace can only strengthen Israel's position (and now is a better time than any).
2. Responsible Israeli politicians (as well as many responsible Israeli citizens) believe that peace is achievable.

I think they'd probably go along with Israeli retaliation: after all, they never stepped in before!

Oh I see, so you have no answers to it then. You have spouted off on here for months and when your 'solution' for middle east peace is openly ripped apart you just want to avoid the unpalatable truth.

Like all of your ilk fake finger, you are all piss and wind but no substance.

I can certainly back that point up, I have had dealings with UN missions, and they were renowned for alternative income sources. It was so bad that a whole logistics operation was in place to move the acquired goods back to the respective home countries via the regional base. Rank determined the level of non officiAl renumeration received.

The troops from southern Asia were renowned for thier entrepreneurship.

As bent as a bent thing being bent in a bender.

Mass bribery and fraud are quite low grade when compared to the allegations of child rape and prostitution against UN peace keepers in Haiti and Sudan.

Not sure who suggested the use of UN peace keepers but they must be truly deluded.

We can assume Hamas etc would love the opportunity of blowing up lots of troops from western nations. Who are the only countries who have the operational capability to provide such a force.

I was talking about two different things in two separate posts ,The cars have nothing to do with the bribes apart from seemingly rubbing the Israeli noses in it .
I'll make this very simple ,amidst many drunk Conversations I was told they were hated by the Israelis because they allowed weapons to be smuggled in for bribes ,and they admitted this.i know it's difficult to comprehend that someone might be corrupt but it happens.
'Someone in authority' ..they were senior officers ,I'm sure they wrote lots of reports about how they took bribes themselves.

Not sure but it would give Israel a full, final and absolute mandate to kick their collective arses. Sadly the world and some idiots on here would react to and condemn that far quicker.

The 2 state solution isn't, for the 32nd time of stating it, my solution.

You ask what leader of Israel would go down the peace path. Isaac Herzog says he would. Yitzhak Rabin said he would. Your final excuse vanishes in a puff of blue smoke.

You've ripped nothing apart whatsoever, just re-iterated a set of poor arguments borrowed from la la land somewhere to the right of Likud Central.

Vediamo! In the meantime, the rest of the world is getting sick of waiting.

Ah so you now completely reject the Oslo accord?

OK so no 2 state solution. Does that imply you wish to unite all of Palestine and Israel in to one country?

A simple short answer will suffice!

FFS man, yes. Long ago I even coined the name Palisrael for it.

But you've just vanished in a puff of logical blue smoke vis a vis the 2 state solution (which is what we were talking about). Do we have your signature on "our" peace treaty?

Once we get through that, we can proceed!

It's nice to think I still have some friends there! As is, most of the pro-Hamas crew call me dirty Zionist Gypsy, most of the Zionists call me a filthy anti-Semite.

I think the 2 state solution is a mistake (in no particular order):

1. It leaves non-Jewish Israelis swinging in the breeze
2. It would be difficult to create a viable Palestinian state from what the Israelis are prepared (if they're prepared) to give up
3. The nation state is a defunct and oppressive entity
4. A one state solution on Democratic-Confederalist lines offers much more potential for everyone.

1 and 2 have, I think, been pretty well argued by Pappe (you'll have to do some digging in YouTube initially), the rest by Ocalan and Bookchin. (Lots of free downloads.)

I did set out how I saw the process beginning several pages ago.

We can talk further on that after your signature on our the peace document.

Fine. But your "logic" has been defeated, Julie. All we have is an empty shell of ignorance.

That will do for now, thank you.
