Oh dear, and again the troll cant be bothered to read back a page or two, very lazy. Keep on trolling. I hope Santa misses your house.
Temper temper Private. You must have missed the lesson on respect for others in the Army as well as English comprehension at school.

It's not me that's having the problems reading and writing, but you keep calling black, white, and white, black. Sums up your contribution to the thread.

Merry Xmas x.

Hmmm and again with the assumption that I am angry or losing my temper. You really think you are that relevant to me or my life? You couldn't make me lose my temper if you tried mate. Yet another epic fail. I really hope you are better at 'analysing and interpreting laws' than you are at this, if not or judicial system really is screwed.

I'm starting to think it would actual.y be easier to achieve peace in the Middle East than on here.

Well for my part I have accepted the truce that finger offered. Regarding the 'legal clerk', I think I will just ignore him as I wouldn't want to get angry

Ah, the old belligerent breaks the truce, knowing fool well that I could put up counter examples.

Not to be provoked, I came across a nice quote from Gore Vidal (in Dawkins' The God Delusion) while looking for something else (actually the virgin/raisin mis-translation thing, which turns out to be untrue).

"The great unmentionable evil at the center of our culture is monotheism. From a barbaric Bronze age text known as the Old Testament, three anti-human religions have evolved -- Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. These are sky-god religions. They are, literally, patriarchal -- God is the Omnipotent Father -- hence the loathing of women for 2,000 years in those countries afflicted by the sky-god and his earthly male delegates."

the truce should not be about discussion, but about resorting to personal insults.

Where I wuz brung up "fool well" was the expression. No particular insult intended, but if you wish to take it as such, so be it.

But I'm not going to be drawn back into a silly scenario where we just resort to posting (without comment) examples of one or the other side's abject depravity and then lambast the supporters of the other side for not condemning them.

Oh OK. Kind of don't see the difference between your post and mine as I fail to see how this isn't a post about one side but what ever. smile

Well, the difference was the Israeli Supreme Court doing something good for Palestinians, in contrast to Palestinians doing bad things to Israelis.

I'll try and concentrate on good stuff! smile Let's hope there's more. But it's unlikely to be completely uncontroversial.

You do come out with utter horse st, don't you?

So if I went into your house and occupied your garden as my home, you'd be ok with it?

Stealing is stealing . . . . But this isn't something that is happening, isn't Grum.
