Hamas moved their headquarters a couple of years back from Damascus, Syria to Gaza city.

They did not agree with how Assad was treating the Palestinian refugees in the Syrian Yarmouk camp.

However, there are some Palestinians in Syria that sided with Assad but the majority did not.

Many are dead or have fled this and other refugee camps due to the bombing by Assad's jets & helicopters.

OK, say they did save him and nurse him back to health, only a few months later for him to go and stab somebody else, or maybe next time get a gun a shoot some people? or a suicide vest and blow them up?

It's all very well going on about human rights and how all life is precious, but really, you need to step back and see the bigger picture, when children are brought into the world and indoctrinated from day one about their mortal enemies and how the sky-pixies expect them to go out and kill the infidels etc etc, what exactly is the point of keeping them alive to perpetuate this medieval barbarism?

If you have a wild dog that's out of control after being trained by some druggie to attack people, what do you do? bring it home to pay with your family? No. well, what's the difference?

Human rights is a load of crap, it's abdication for the basics of right and wrong.

LOL!

I wonder what his future is now?

Whatever they (Israel for the hard of understanding) do with him now, you just know the nut-jobs will screw it up.

Both sides have elements in them that are just as bad as the other. Only one side ignores UN treaty number one.

Put the ignorance of the UN and any suggested interventions by them aside, you can't acknowledge that there's rabid extremists on both sides?

never suggested there weren't?

the difference is that the government of Israel are not nut-job extremists, unlike Hamas/PLO/PA/etc.

Oh come on Simon, any credible argument you could have presented has been lost. The right wing Likud party has taken in many other smaller further right wing parties into a coalition government. Really, you need to do some research into their tactics and comments made in the Knesset.

There are some right nutters in the israeli government at the moment .

The difference is over the years the palestinian attitude has never changed,no interest in peace.I think there was a genuine hope for a peaceful resolution in israel for many many years but the repeated determination of the palestinian to not accept any peace has ultimately led to a right wing shift in the general israeli attitude.

I'm sure you're right, however, on the scale of nut-jobs, they are still liberals compared to the Hamas nut-jobs.

when did you last see an Israeli child with a suicide vest on or stabbing palestinians?

And if you did, would he be in a hospital bed like the above palestinian kid? You can just imagine what torture he would face.

I suppose if those in charge in Israel were proper nut-jobs, then there wouldn't be many Palestinians left to negotiate with.

no question.

if the israelis were nut-jobs, palestinians would simply not exist by now.

Just how many hours do you think it would take israel to wipe them all out of they wanted to?

Simon Simon Simon, that's the point. It's David V. Goliath. One side has homemade bombs and knives, the other has all the fancy weapons. There's those amongst the settlers who are as mental as a right wing extremist can be.

You can't have a rational argument if you can't see both side of the picture.

If one assumes that Israel could dfnd itself against mass attacks by all of its neighbours, then, I would give the Palestinians about 90 minutes before they ceased to exist as a contiguous nation.

That's if real nut-jobs ruled Israel.

Some would probably like to do just that, but the world watches so they can't. Would be all sorts of name calling and comparisons to past happenings. There's lots of centre faction israelis who are disgusted by what goes on over there, but they are harassed and their voices made quiet.
