Dummy, the PA is made up of various factions, a large one being Hamas.
Jimbeaux,
Purely so I know who and where to add credibility, are you actually Jewish?

Are you from Israel?

Now, having asked that, i would hate to make assumptions and would appreciate anybody else getting punchy on here answering BOTH questions??? Ignore my request but if I were an Israeli Arab, I would suggest my views have a little more credibility than a descendant of 'Hamas' ?

Or is it irrelevant?

Getting a clear, concise and ACCURATE view of the region's history is next to impossible without bias frown

Yes, and jimbeaux I also demand that you post your age, who you voted for in the last 3 elections, your occupation and income, home address and mother's maiden name. Indeed anyone who has the temerity to defend Israel needs to reveal everything about themselves or they will be outed as Jews and their opinions rendered irrelevant.

Crispin will get this but it has gotten a little Jungle Fever between you two idiots.

By the way, I'll have a go at whoever I like, including the imported help. Man parts not adequate enough for the indigenous crowd?

Now, come at me with one of your famous emojis.

and how insulting they are behind a keyboard too - half the crap written here (ie forums in general) wouldn't be said in public (or if said people would at least have the balls to apologise if inadvertent offence was given) and we're all guilty to some degree or other

Not really because an Israeli Arab is at the end of the day going to be more loyal to his fellow muslim and run the risk of having his life ended if he comes out in support of Israel.

To you two, behind or in person, my exchange with that idiot and his playground bully's gimpy friend u would be exactly the same. Probably worse in person as I could look them in their eyes and ask them if they actually believe half the vile they spew out. I can't bear to think about the direction in which the world is heading.

But to both you also, I'm going to apologise for any offence caused by a late night rant at a couple of obvious agenda driven st stirring posters.

Have a very merry Christmas all, I know I will.

Certainly nothing that equates to you stropping like a 5 year old.
For the record, I condemn Hamas, the destruction of any nation and also the firing of missiles at pontoons.
Edited to remove any bias, my condemnation stretches to all aquatic vessels.

Back to topic debate; Many fail to realize (media fails to report) that the P.A. Pays a monthly stipend to those who kill an Israeli. Fact not hearsay. Children are taught in school (not just home but in school) to hate the Jews. No peace will ever come from this.

Likewise, to you and yours.

I take back my rubbish about your Mrs and will instead focus on mine who managed to screw up the turkey even after 2 dry runs early on in the month.

I can assure you that you wouldn't speak to me like that in person, especially to/about my wife (turns out I am not married) if I had one.

There won't be peace as the sole aim is the destruction of Israel.
When you teach hatred in the schools, there's no hope.
The various factions have no peace between themselves let alone coming to any peaceful agreement with next door.
As I said before if you think anything less than Israel being pushed into the sea will bring peace then you are deluded.
And that is the point, spot on. Anyone who does not understand that is being misled.
This is really the most important point. Throughout history Jews have been persecuted, and quite understandably there is nothing that Israel will not do to avoid another holocaust, and I can understand that.

However, having visited Tel Aviv numerous times I am continually shocked by the the number of young, well-educated, western dressed people I meet that would condone doing exactly the same to Arabs/Muslims as they have suffered to ensure they to survive, and by that I include genocide. If they thought they could get away with it, they would. It really is quite shocking to experience.
I can understand their fear at the thought of another holocaust at the hands of their neighbours, but they would do the same.
They have the means to destroy the surrounding Arab nations many times over but have not. Do you think the Arabs would be as accommodating? We may soon see as Their Persian overlords funnel a nuke their way.
I'm pretty sure the Arabs would be slightly annoyed about having Iran as their overlords as would Iran being at the Arab beck on call on such matters. You need to read a history book or two.

I feel that we are seeing a new dose of realism in politics, hence I started the "Backlash" thread yesterday.

Two examples today are;

Israel finding out that they cannot depend upon the support of the US if they take it for granted and don't listen to the moral objections of their friends,
This is one "backlash" I can support but too little too late from Obama. Unfortunately, it won't last long as Trump is now going to punish the UN for daring to call out the illegal settlements. I can't see the US-Israel relationship changing an awful lot while Trump is in charge.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.breitbart.com/big...
Why are they illegal ? That is land they won in war they did not start. Lessons for the Arab nations; don't attack, lose, then want your land back. What Obama just did was a cowardly betrayal. He has been kissing the ass of nations where groups like Hamas hold sway while slapping the face of our only friend in the ME and the only freely elected democracy. Backstabbing coward.

I am well aware of the Persian / Arab mutual hatred. However, you need to bone up on recent Iranian sponsorship of terrorism. It's called current events. Admittedly, "overlords" is misleading; however, terrorist organizations such as Hamas, is well in league with them. The mutual desire for jihad will often overcome historical conflicts, if against the right enemy. This despite the fact that Iranians are primarily Shi'a and Palestinians Sunni.
