Irrelevant, frankly I'd rather have an economy based on tangible real commodities, such as minerals, actual physical goods and manufacturing, rather than some notional services which go tits updue to lack of regulation. We used to have some of the strongest banking regulations in the world until recently. Westminster is frankly culpable for some pretty shocking decisions - So much so that many feel that Scotland should take it's administrative affairs under it's own care.

alex salmond can join that distinguished list along with tony and gordon of people who have fooked up the UK

All Member States of the European Union, except Denmark and the United Kingdom, are required to adopt the euro and join the euro area. To do this they must meet certain conditions known as 'convergence criteria'.

1 camaroon doesn't care, hence darlin in top job

2 EU wont let it happen, hence no Euro and mickey mouse money

3 millyband sh/tting himself

4 ladbrooks giving 8 to 1

5 nobody in england gives a fook

6 campaign has been disgustingly dishonest from both side, and is an alltime low for UK democracy

There is the irony here in that by pushing high fees through in England, it saves the treasury money it can then spend in Scotland giving free fees.
They could just abstain

It makes fk all sense.

We control everything that we could ever want to be locally controlled at present (health, education, police, transport).
But you also control this in England, which is wrong, without the scottish MP,s Camaroon would have a majority
after this vote, there needs to be some changes that restore our democracy

These 60 MP,s should not be voting one way in scotland on devolved matters and then the opposite way in england

Do you honestly believe that?

Or do you just live in hope that if you keep saying it, everything will be alright?
Just about every tin pot nation within 2000 miles of mainland europe has been allowed to join the EU. most of them did,nt meet any "real" criteria, do you think they wont let an oil exporting scotland in

With all the nonsense about Scotland not getting the Government they vote for, this is a good time to remind readers that at every general election for the 13 years in which Gordon Brown was ruining our economy, a majority in England voted Conservative. So the largest, most significant part of the Union had a government foisted on it by a combination of labour voting Scots and a skewed electoral system.
I don't think that is right. I don't have a breakdown of the results for England for the 1997 or 2001 election but in 2005 the result for England was:

Labour 286 seats 35.4% of popular vote
Tories 194 seats 35.7% of popular vote

So the Tories fractionally won the popular vote but Labour won 54% of the seats under the first-past-the-post system.

You can work backwards to the 2001 result using the movement in 2005. This would have given a result in 2001 of:

Labour 323 seats 41.4% of popular vote
Tories 162 seats 35.2% of popular vote

So it is not true to say that England has always voted Tory. They did in 2010 and it is possible that the 2015 election may result in a Tory majority in England but a Labour majority across the whole UK.
This is why all of the UK should be voting, we dont want these tax and spend scottish socialists down here

Singapore is the private banking, low tax, give us all your cash style tax haven for Asia and India.

The place exists because it is almost solely given over for the purpose of rich Asians stashing their cash.

Singapore has no social healthcare systems or legions of old people wanting pensions. It is so unlike Scotland it may as well be an alien planet.
Best idea yet, move scotland to another planet, surprised SNP haven't suggested it weeks ago
