We're just pointing out we disagree with that, and some reasons why.
I think I should know what I'd written, as usual, you seem to have missed out most of my text - never mind, I can't expect you to be sensible can I?
Anyway let me ask if you agree with Foppo's ever so brilliant idea then?

Oh how remiss of me not to realise that PH (being somewhere to the right of Genghis Khan) is the last bastion of balanced debate - where if you're a successful, wealthy person, who happens to have socialist leanings - then you're a hypocrite for not switching sides to the Tories - being referred to as Champagne Socialists, or similar, or if you earn less than £50k a year - then your opinion doesn't count....... Hmmmmmmm just like politics of 200 years ago, where only the titled were entitled to vote..... I'm glad we'll get the opportunity to go our separate ways - it may even be better for the ex-constituent states. Roll on the 19th of September....
I have no idea what any of that means.

I am deluded

I am a Victim

Is it possible to earn less than £50,000 and still have like running water and electricity and children without rickets surely not. Besides poor people aren't real people are they...tongue out

Of course they are! And how very useful they are. If it wasn't for poor people, how would we be able to value our wealth?

I selected the relevant part of your quotation to which I was replying. A very sensible thing to do, although I couldn't expect you to understand that.

I don't agree with Foppo's suggestion (I think he was being a bit facetious tbh) and I think that Northern Ireland should decide for itself.

Hmmmmmm......where have I ever mentioned English in my last reply? Ooh, that's right.....nowhere - because it's simply not relevant. There again I wouldn't have expected anything less from you. Iirc you're a Kipper aren't you? Even less relevant to Scotland than the Tories....at least the Tories have a vague chance of improving their lot North of the border, post September......unlike Ukip.

Okay fellas, let's ease up, this is like shooting fish in a barrel, it's embarrassing.

PCV, you need to lose the chip, you are turning into the No camp's recruiting sergeant.

Calm down and go and re-read some of your posts. Then think how you come across.

So you'd agree if he's not simply being facetious....then he's quite wrong in his viewpoint then? So N. Ireland should be allowed to determine it's own course unimpeded by outside interference? What about Scotland? So shouldn't Scotland be afforded the same unalienable right without impediment or interference to do likewise?.....

Indeed, that's what I mean. It'd be a different story if I had been there on that wing biggrin

unalienable right
We do have, and in about eight weeks, we'll use that right. After that, the issue is settled. (For a generation or two).

Indeed, Northern Ireland should decide its future - AFAIK very few folk there want to be an independent state and I pointed that out to you.

Scotland's population is deciding our own course in September, in case you hadn't notice, so I don't know what you're on about confused

Where did you mention English? Well, you said "I'm glad we'll get the opportunity to go our separate ways" which is use of divisive language. I should've asked if you thought I lived in England - my apologies. Even if there is a yes vote, you won't be "going separate ways" from the millions of non-Yes voters in Scotland. I want to know if you think you'll be "going separate ways" from me...? confused

What do you mean you wouldn't have expected any less from me? Most of what I post is calm, considered and backed up with evidence where applicable.

I don't know what gives you the impression that I'm a supporter of UKIP, either.

I asked what you think of me as you seem to be well wide of the mark in the majority of your replies. Apologies Neonblau if you think it irrelevant - I'm trying to help pcvdriver appreciate and understand my point of view, even if he doesn't agree with it smile
