I would be and here's why.
She probably has few formal qualifications and like most people without and with her background would be either on benefits or in a minimum wage job.
But she isn't.
She has a career in the entertainment industry, compared to most it'll be incredibly lucrative albeit often short lived but so far it's a good few years and this cases(s) will boost her popularity, image and earnings still further (it's mostly about money)
There are plenty of new opportunities for her now that'll strengthen her position and if I were her father, then yes, I'd be proud of that.
She's all yours then. She probably has few formal qualifications and like most people without and with her background would be either on benefits or in a minimum wage job.

For me pride in one's child would not be based on their monetary success but how they conduct themselves.
With the background as above, I'd rather my daughter grafted a minimum wage job but conducted herself with pride, decency and self respect. That includes not leaking a sex tape to all and sundry (be under no illusion this was an intentional 'leak' for career boosting purposes), not getting involved in dealing class A drugs and not assaulting others at music festivals.
Don't forget that success in the music industry is very much based on the whims and wishes of those at the top. They control the PR and they control who is to rise to the top. If they want you to succeed, you will. Post sex tape, she was the flavour of the month. Very little is talent, it's marketability.
I often see monetary success used as justification for Katie Price's actions on here. If success is getting your tits and fanny out in the newspapers and revealing who you shagged in trashy magazines aimed at the mentally deficient, then you're welcome to it. I wouldn't be proud if she was my daughter either regardless of her bank balance.
But then again, I suppose such a 'lifestyle' is aspiration for the youth nowadays.
All imvho of course.
Though I do like Wikipedia's choice of photo for Tulisa's (locked) entry.

Indeed. Cheryl Tweedy-Cole-WhateverHerNameIsNow barely had a career until she was done for assaulting a toilet attendant. It can only be uphill for Tulisa PlasticFace now!g3org3y said:

'To continue with my career' ......what ever that was
Television presenter.Chart topping musical artist.
Talk show contributor.
The list goes on.
Financially successful with lots more to come I'd say.
Until then...
I'm not exactly 'with-it' as the hip young adults say today, so I wasn't surprised when I didn't recognise the woman. I've just searched for images after some of the comments on here. I remember her then. She used to be extremely attractive. What possessed her?
I was in the slips once when the wicket-keeper caught a batsman. I walked over to congratulate him and have a bit of a chat. After the new chap settled in I took up my place and as the bowler started his run I noticed that the bloke was left-handed. I dropped my arms and half stood up.
The bowler also did not realise the sinister nature of the batsman and sent the ball straight to me. The batsman swung round on it, increasing its speed but not its trajectory. I turned my head, thereby saving my teeth, but both lips were pushed onto my teeth. There was a tremendous quantity of blood and I was taken to hospital.
My lips swelled up tremendously. My mother (I was about 16) took down all the mirrors in the house. Now I see why. I must have looked like a freak.

What you mean is you dropped the catch, right Derek?
Sorry.
