I know this stuff is for local consumption; however, they have to realize the world sees their rhetoric, one thinks they would try to make it less preposterous.

But most of "us" have seen through it. Unlike the slaughter in Gaza. Most of "us" know who is responsible.

Yeh - you are probably right - why buy from Tesco, when you can import them straight from China.

It really is laughable. Imagine if anyone else had made that threat - people probably would take it rather badly but everyone knows N.Korea are not even remotely capable.

Have N.Korea ever actually fought anyone in real life?

I would imagine it would be very similar to my experiences the first time I played Forza online against actual people.

Offline against the computer - driving god.

'Yeah! time to show these suckers online how its done' biggrin

Then....

'WTF why am I being left behind!' Usually end up last, possibly upside down in some gravel.... frown

South Korea + United Nations forces from the UK, Australia, USA, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Ethiopia, France, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey.

They were never beaten and the Korean War has never ended.

So you can see they have a rather self inflated ego of invincibility.

On a serious note, if you read the news site for example, this is the site that they issue stories, they are up for it and are capable. The indoctrination I think will mean that they are not going away soon and if it did kick off again then it would be bloody due to the other side portrayed as demons etc.

To be fair though - China did give a rather large helping hand.

Ok yes I did actually mean within the last 50 years or so using modern technology. Wouldn't a few well placed precision air strikes pretty much instantly cripple them if needs be?

They have a huge army and one that would not rely on transport to get south I think. I am no military expert but few strikes I think would not scratch the surface if they started south. I just hope they have not found a way to dig any more tunnels without being detected.

What is the possibility of them slipping a smaller nuke out in say a suitcase or smaller parts and then assembled stateside? That is what I would be more worried about.

In the picture accompanying the news piece in the OP, the Marine closest to the camera is aiming his gun while peering over some specs like a pensioner at at crossword puzzle.
