You may be onto something there. I was caught up in a wave of drunk crotch-gropping tiny women in town for a midget convention or some such thing. They are like "What'cha gonna' do, swat a midget?". I escaped, they were strong and compact but I had speed on them. smile

They do, I believe, hunt in packs. Separating the weak from the heard then have a gropping frenzy. Dirty evil bds. Just don't feed them after midnight or let them get wet.

You were lucky to escape with your life and crotch in place.

Life yes, crotch in place? Not really. There was unauthorized package shifting. I really don't like to talk about it.

I hope and pray you don't suffer PTSD flashbacks when you pass the Ambrosia Bakery, they make ginger bread people you know.

My first thought on reading that article as well. Those women know the outcome if the IS is not destroyed.

Particularly like this bit!

"And I have also discussed the police response to this growing threat of extremism with the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe. The position is clear. If people are walking around with Isil flags or trying to recruit people to their terrorist cause, they will be arrested and their materials will be seized. We are a tolerant people, but no tolerance should allow the room for this sort of poisonous extremism in our country."

Looks like those scumbags on Oxford street will be getting their collars felt next time they give it a try smile

Also interesting comment piece in the Grauniad on combating radicalisation.

A war in a galaxy far far away ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntXbSrH0egc&fe...

It reminds me of Northern Ireland in the 1970's crossed with Stalingrad in 1940's. Worst civil war in a long time. A lot worse than what is going on here.

If you watch it all to the end (and it is really worth watching) who are the goodies and baddies and what is the current state of the country 12 years on?

You cannot win a civil war by arms alone. You need to end with compassion.

The Americans showed us this fact about 150 years back.

Interesting analysis from Dr. North on the article here. http://www.eureferendum.com/blogview.aspx?blogno=8....

Basically summarised as "now the Iraquis and Kurds are starting to push ISIS back, CMD is making hawkish noises so that later he can claim to have helped sort it out".

So that's a biased political blogger claiming that main stream media is manipulating politicians to generate opinion on which it can comment on which the blogosphere can then comment (which he has) that the main stream media (on which he's commenting) isn't providing full analysis, even though by his own admission his full analysis is based on that of the mainstream media.

All for the benefit of a couple of lines at the end where he sticks the knife into Cameron which as we all know (because he's an unabashed politico blogging on a partisan website) was the only purpose to the exercise.

I am correct?

Iraq & Kurdistan will soon be separate countries, and will probably fight each other once they have finished off the Sunni IS.

Ask me in 2 years time smile Oil & religion are safe enough reasons for the moment. Do you they will agree to be a united Iraq?

Well, they both have oil. All sides are (mainly) Muslim, although there are non Muslim Kurdish minorities.

I don't see a united Iraq long term. The Kurds want their own state. They've had a form of independence for the last 20 odd years. I'd think the rest of Iraq will fracture, too.

ISIS have their own view: http://www.algemeiner.com/2014/08/18/islamic-state...

All sides are (mainly) Muslim,
That alone has been the fight between Muslims for centuries.....Mo's successor.
