Ummm not seen this thread seems to be an argument (exactly how I'd expect it)
Anyway prepare for riots in Utah. Apparently an unarmed white man was shot to death by a black police officer 10 or so days ago. This has been kept quiet by the media. No milage in stirring up Mormons probably.
Obviously the usual suspects want to make this about race. I personally think it's about how the way us police are trained comply with any request or get shot. ( obviously don't know if this was a good shoot or not yet)
Plenty of unarmed white people also get shot by police one particular case stands out a young man who was burned in a car accident was shot by police who didn't want blood on them. There are many others.
That's before we get onto no knock warrants, swatting etc etc.

Jim those stats will always be ignored by some. Only a few weeks ago Chicago I think there were 60 shootings and the week after 40 drive by shooting somewhere else.Until people are willing to look at uncomfortable truths nothing will change.

What?I stare in disbelief at the so-called journalists and community leaders who speak of justice and in the same breath condemn the cop. A cornerstone of our justice is innocent until proven guilty; the investigation is still underway. IF.....it is found that this cop was being run at a second time (some reports indicate his eye socket was crushed in the initial attack) and was defending his life, that would show him justified. I swear to you that those same "justice seekers" will have nothing to do with justice but still call for revenge and burn more places down. The truth will not matter.

Isn't that partly why we are where we are? Everyone in these kids lives(and they are still kids, despite the origin of this thread being built like a Buick) telling them they have no future and nothing to live for and demonstrating it by having s

they have the same parents, backgrounds and economic hardships as the black lads but they don't seem to be held back by the usual excuses.

Maybe, or maybe their recollection of the event is subject to normal human psychology and cognitive bias in high stress situations. Although this is too complex a subject for the media and others to discuss and consider.
