Don't believe so - I think this cam is a long way away. I suspect the white area in the back ground is the ice sheet that Bardarbunga is under.
I was getting confused with the other webcams, I thought the area beyond the van above was previously covered in ice but it's a different view from a different location. Oakey said:

I think it's the same view, just different time of day and very different light

Ever since the Eyjasfjall...thingy..okull volcano erupted I followed the Icelandic web page to see if Myrdalsjokull volcano next door would erupt as it is far bigger. So for many months have watched it bubbling along with a few tremors per day, but nothing major.
Now The Vatnajokull region is experiencing what I wondered Myrdal..ull would my favourite region has gone the quietest in all that time, see here

2 tiny tremors in 3 days.
Meanwhile

It does make me wonder how much interconnection is between different regions in Iceland and the magma topology below ground. Pressure one place takes the pressure off somewhere else.
Of course if they are all interconnected we could perhaps have a perfect storm one day. My mother in law is actually visiting Iceland at the moment, so perhaps wishful thinking....
