On balance, YES!
NO!, the man was an embarrassment.
He was trying to compare him to Obama, a larger embarrassment.

As sad as the event is do these people really think this will change US policy?

I only see attitudes hardening which can only increase American efforts to damage these people.
You are deluded if you think simply leaving them alone will stop them doing their evil deeds. They despise the fact that a nation, UK for example, has laws, freedoms, diversity, etc. that is not in line with Sharia. It is a way of life they wish to replace with another we are dealing with here, not reprisals for "meddling". They believe it is their duty to spread out until all are under their form of rule. Why is that so difficult to understand; hell, they tell us that themselves, it is no great mystery.

Why was the executioner wearing a mask?

I thought they were brave jihadist fighters on a mission, not scared pussies who are too frightened to show their faces.

He should stand proud and say where he's from, what his mission is and how right he is.

Not hide behind a black mask.

YOU fkNG COWARD.

Obama is a waste of time , as far as the rest of the world is concerned is the missing president

Perhaps you should worry less about people "sucking down western Propaganda" and learn a bit more about what propose to know(and don't). As someone already told you, nothing about that was "carpet bombing". That requires a different set of aircraft, different type munitions, and very specific math calculations.
Indeed Rolling thunder (IIRC) in Vietnam was the closest to "Carpet Bombing" there has been since WW2, as most B52's have been turned into Saucepans etc, it is unlikely we will see it again in our life times.
Fortunatly we still have enough B-52s to still carry out a carpet bombing. Isolated ISIS formations in the desert would be the perfect target for such a tactic.

Not missing at all, just check the nearest Golf course. smile
At least DC made the gesture of returning from vacation following the beheading. Our fellow returned to the podium, made a speech, then headed back to the golf links at Martha's Vineyard for a tee time with NBA star Alonzo Mourning.

I must admit Jimmy, I used to dislike your dislike of B.O (that's not body Odour BTW) hehe , but he's looking more and more like a lame president, a bit overtaken by recent events and no better than Dubya. Shame, I had high hopes when he got elected and he turned out to be useless.

The irony is that if one were to look back at my threads from 2008, one would see I was voicing support for him, saying he deserves a chance to perform his duties like anyone else. I was also disappointed. I have no respect for him, however, I believe his failings are less his doing and more of those he surrounds himself with. He has populated key cabinet chairs with idealists and activists rather than experienced managers.

Might be helpful in sorting our quandary as to what to do with the Brit Nutjobs enrolled in the ranks of the deranged.
A bit O/T but an update for you. Some of the B-52 airframes will be nearly 100 years old at retirement:

Not a sympathiser at all, just someone who can see a more balanced view than you.
That is not how you appear.
I suspect the problem may be your end.
I am fairly sure it isn't. But having discussed things with you before I know that you believe your opinion is the only correct one, and I haven't the time or the energy to go any further with this dialogue.
Ah you're one of those, someone disagrees with you and you think your opinion is the only correct one.....

Perhaps, but their military hardware was, or at least was in formations of sort. I am sure they have spread out now due to strikes but are they co-mingled with innocents, Hamas style? I thought they don't co-mingle, just kill and move on.

Just though that might be pertinent to share in light of the discussions subject matter.

Obama has actually spent less time on the golf course than Dubya. Look it up.
