Slightly conflicting stories, but it appears the Jordanians wont be messing about - currently scheduling the execution of six people, one of whom is a woman who attempted a suicide bomb attack and failed.

Reading about what they have done, it seems they were trying emulate how their 'colleagues' perhaps died following a bombing

Ie being burned alive in their houses and then crushed/covered in the rubble of the collapsed building.

It seems like the bombings are hurting ISIS a lot more than they are letting on.

Poor soul; what a way to go.

Theyre after the destruction of western civilisation, nothing less.
Theyre after the introduction of a warped religious ideology with themselves at the the top of tree.

Theres no way to beat that kind of insanity, not with talk at least, the only response would be to turn their whole country/ies into glass with a series of very large nukes.

But no ones currently got the balls to do what should be done to these critters.
Spot on.

Could be a fail tho..
I doubt it. There's no winning this by normal means and I suspect total eradication is the only approach likely to be even remotely sensible (and even then, I'm far from convinced)

Execute all prisoners, then nothing to mess about being blackmailed with. Everyone knows where they stand. Gloves off.

All the powers in the region need to decide which side they're on and fight it out together.

Have you seen the images of Kobane? Looks as if it's been subjected to area bombing.
Fair point. I meant throughout vast swathes of the country, and throughout the territory it controls, particularly strongholds like Raqqa

Castration of ISIS captives, physical or chemical, might be worth considering.
Captives? Which captives...?

There must be no prisoners....

Good point - show your colours yes however would we be surprised with some answers?

I think not!

The Middle East has for many, many years been a very complicated tinder box and I'm not really sure how this can be resolved.

If anyone is in any doubt that ISIS and anyone who supports them should be absolutely obliterated off the face of this earth then they should watch it.

I guarantee they will change their mind.
I don't think that any non-muslims have any doubt.

I haven't watched it, or any other "execution videos".

I don't understand how anyone could watch these videos.

Offering them martyrdom would be much more humane.

Are the videos designed to encourage others, cause revulsion or what?

Why do some people double take at severly disabled or disfigured individuals?

Why do people rubber neck at accidents on the other carriageway?

Both simply as examples!

I suspect it's almost a 'must do' out of curiosity and it's nothing bad, just human nature which some can stop, others can't.

I couldn't but understand why some do, it's human nature and what makes us interesting, we all have different thresholds of what we feel is acceptable, within our abilities to stomach, etc and then there is good old curiosity, if it killed a cat it sure as hell killed millions of humans.......but it won't stop as and neither should it

Revulsion and fear mainly, I'd say.

I agree. Apart from the sheer horror, watching the videos is what they want us to do.

Sad thing is the West helped create this monster called Daesh. If Assad had been allowed to deal with these rats decisively instead of us funding and arming the so called moderates who then turned into Nusra and eventually morphed into Daesh , we probably wouldnt be in this situation today.

The same damn situation in Libya. Daesh and militias in full control.
Assad was right, from the get-go. We should have been bombing the Saudis.

Gaddafi/Saddam/Mubarak - the right (not perfect by western standards)) leaders for their countries.

I've never watched an ISIS video as you are falling into their hands by doing so. They want us to watch this nonsense, by refusing to watch it you are defeating their propaganda.

Yes, Cameron doesn't seem to mention the time when he was in favour of sending weaponry to these idiots, but he sure complains about them now...
