Not sure it has been mentioned yet but I have just finished listening to 'Caliphate' a ten-part podcast series by the NYT terrorism correspondent. Well worth a listen. Shows how easily a (relatively) privileged, educated and, for want of a better word, normal, Westerner can be incited to join and kill for ISIS.

I don't see where the decision has to be made - these animals are now stateless aren't they? So if we hand them over then they are the US's to do with as they will; we have no interest in their 'plight' as they aren't subjects of this country.But I might be wrong!

The trouble seems to be that they 'were' British, & that somehow the likes of Saint Chami, Abbot, & the other bleeding-heart tts, think that we still have some interest in them.If they had exclusively tortured/beheaded British nationals, then extradition to the UK would seem fitting, but as UK jurisdiction does not apply in Syria, how could they be tried here?

Frankly if they face a needle or life in supermax I could care less. Give them a fair trail and let justice prevail. Should have thought about the penalty before the started torturing (allegedly) US citizens
