If you must ask. Call the plane, make a warning not to enter their space. They were in international space, therefore, they should shadow, NOT pull dangerous stunts in international space. As was stated, this is not a movie.
Have you considered lodging a complaint with the UN?Jimbeaux said:

Americans protesting about military forces being overly aggressive and breaking laws. They complain about the splinter in others' eyes whilst ignoring the trunk in their own.
When we pull a dangerous aircraft stunt on someone in international airspace, come tell me.Countdown said:

Repercussions for the pilot of the Chinese 'plane? A corrugated shed, a chest full of medals or a few beers at the bar?
Neither... he will probably have to write out a report to his superiors, but will be let off as essentially he carried out his orders. (Intercept and intimidate the American's in China's self declared ADIZ)For the record Canada, India, Japan, Pakistan, Norway, the United Kingdom, People's Republic of China, South Korea, Taiwan, United States, Sweden, Iceland, Russia and North Korea all have international recognized or self-declared ADIZ as well.

International OR self recognized? So, your solution is if they declare it, legitimize it by staying clear. Then, when they expand it, just stay clear of that so they won't get upset. I hope you arenever put in charge of a western nation's self interest.
No... is not a territory grab, it is simply a region (usually of strategic importance), that the host nation requests traversing aircraft to declare themselves and their destination. Failure to declare could result in interception. It is important to note that all nations with ADIZ recognize that it is not an extension of sovereign airspace and the ADIZ remain's international airspace.

Hasn't America on many occasions declared no-fly zones outside their own airspace & offered to destroy any plane in that zone?Do you have an answer on the Iran Air thing, btw?
