Real shame. Got chatting with him whilst we were waiting in the F1 paddock at Goodwood Revival a few years back. Seemed a really nice guy.

Sad news. <greetin>

Scottish rally 19bla, AWD Grp B machinery all round.
Bellahoustin special stage LIKE THAT'S EVER GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN Waldegard chasing young kankonelli [ok kankonen] in the RWD toyota's...super sideways but losing time due to traction...FF to rest and be thankful SS, hairpin at end. AWD pugs, fords, audis then around come both toyata's on two wheels inside off the ground and blasting up the final brae clutch, brake, diff, tyre smoke/smells in their wake.

fking right on.

RIP Bjorn, thanks for the memories.

My mistake, it was Laars Eric Torfe.

How sad, a lovely man but he was possessed of true grit.

Never the absolute fastest, he was a very clever and talented driver whose determination earned him wins in the Safari in the mid 80s in a simple two wheel drive Toyota against massive GpB opposition. It was a stunning achievement.

RIP Bjorn
