The hacker is a complete moron. If I managed to steal some very private photos off some very famous people from the cloud, which belonged to one of the most powerfull companies in the world, who have some of the brightest minds working for them and a bottomless pit of money, I'm not sure id be leaking them. I give it a couple of hours until the culprit is found and strung up to make an example off.

I'm not whiter then white, but i do find the people who are salivating over a few phots a bit creepy. There's a real world out there full of real women.
Given the subject matter, your username is priceless.

You take a pic, which is then automatically saved to the cloud.
You don't put it in there deliberately, it does it automatically unless you opt out of the service.

It certainly will be interesting to see if/when he gets caught. When you release a metric fkton of celebrity photos that you've managed to rob from Apple, you can bet there will be some backlash.

Meh; I've seen plenty of naked ladies, but these are 'celebrity' ladies...

I suspect the leaker is not the hacker, and that if the photos were got via the ibrute method, then that has been an open vulnerability for a long time and there have been multiple "hackers". The leaker just got hold of the photos and decided to try and get some cash, without realising quite how much st he would get himself into.

Salivating? - No.

Interested? - Hell yeah!

Yep there is a whole world full of real women out there but as I am in a relationship and not into being a cheat they are off limits if I'd like to look at a little variety.

So, what about the non apple phones that are being used?

Pics that have been sent to an apple device maybe?

This.

Most of the pictures of Kate Upton are not from her phone, but her boyfriends. It's got him in a bit of st too, as he had quite a few naked photos on his phone and not all of them were of his missus....

Doubt it. Icloud's T&C's;

'APPLE DOES NOT REPRESENT OR GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE FREE FROM LOSS, CORRUPTION, ATTACK, VIRUSES, INTERFERENCE, HACKING, OR OTHER SECURITY INTRUSION, AND APPLE DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY RELATING THERETO.'
Also, on some of the pics they were taken with non Apple phones..
I'm sure one of the pics is of a DropBox log-in page.

Oh dear.

I have to say that I wasn't expecting to end today having seen Alessandro Ambrosio's cornhole.

To quote the great poet Ice Cube, today was a good day.

Same here, well I'd go as far to say it's not the actual nudity that interests me per-se, I suppose it's complete voyeurism - these Men and Women have spent a fortune and most of their lives getting onto our TV and Cinema screens with usually completely false images, but it seems they're as perverted as the rest of us behind closed doors ha ha (I don't take pictures though through fear of seeing them and there's not even mind bleach in the world...) as others have said, if you fancy a fap there's 'better' material.

For some of them it'll be a good leg-up career wise, there's a new who could use it, for some it'll be a minor bump in the road - they're not the first, or the last but some of them who do kids TV had better speak to their agent about 'new directions'.

Should've been clearer, I can understand why people would look, I profess to looking at a photo of Jennifer Lawarane which was doing the rounds on twitter. But the person/people who spent a lot of time and effort getting these photos are the ones who don't sit right with me.
I'm sure it's some gaming addicted clinically obese teenager with the social skills of a one year old.

Just find it strange looking at a photo which was meant to be private. If any of the girls was a relation to me id be very sympathetic. Maybe I'm getting old but nude photos of celebs just don't do it for me.

it’s easy (and to some extent understandable) to criticise the Kardashians and Paris Hiltons of this world and those ‘celebs’ that ‘leak’ saucy sanps of themselves. But this appears to an all together different kettle of fish and I can well understand the anger and embarrassment of any of the women caught up in the situation. Most, if not all of them, will suffer no long-lasting damage to their careers, nonetheless, I find the whole thing rather sad.

I take your point, personally I'd be more mercenary, someone somewhere would have no doubt paid bags of cash for the pictures, we're not talking about the 'Dead Diana' pics that no one would print.

With you better now.

Yes I do agree the lengths that some one or some group has gone to to get these is scary. But then there are a lot of people who are deeply into this sort of hacking and high level computer stuff who you would never dare put into a box marked 'normal human'.

If they were pictures of my sister or fictional 18 year old daughter I'd be fizzing with anger. Yet that anger would be tempered by the fact there these are not 1km away telephoto pictures but selfies and ones taken by trusted people. They had the choice about if the photo was taken or not. No it should not have been stolen but then an ex could release a photo in 10 years time, who knows. Well actually the ones who haven't let their photos be taken know, but their not bhing right now...

This isn't some sort of justification club or apologist post. What the hackers did was an invasion of personal privacy that should never be allowed. It should be prevented from happening again. People will hopefully learn not to put that st out there and also not to click accept to every message they get on their phone. My SGS5 has only just given up asking me to share all my photos. Hell no, that isn't happening any time soon!!!

I'm not averse to a bit of celebrity boobage provided it's in the public domain to begin with, but in this case it's just wrong. IMO.

Thing is, Jenn Lawrence looks stunning in her movies, great makeup and wardrobe, brilliant lighting and camera work, and probably really enhanced by computers.

In reality she's just another no so photogenic spotty youngster.....

Not going to live up to her screen images that's for sure......

Probably why she's so upset.....

I browsed the list on Reddit, I think I might be somewhat out of touch.

I can honestly say I do not recognise the names of 95% of those "celebs".

I am 40, is this lack of celeb knowledge a normal state of affairs or am I living in a cave ?

looks like 4chan started #leakforjlaw......which is a genius exploitation of bandwagon jumping idiots with nice breasts (and men who think its funny to post their grim moobs!)
That's a pretty smart one! hehe

They did #bald4bieber too.
