thought the latest polls show a very close run thing. Is this a seat where the UKIP vote could stop the Conservatives from winning.

Probably not unless it gets down to the tens. The UKIP vote in Hampstead and Kilburn will be tiny.

Actually that rings a bell. There is no evidence whatsoever of UKIP in Hampstead though. Perhaps there is in Kilburn, but they'd have to be brave.

Not labours biggest fan, but i just can't stand this guy. Champs all round in Hampstead if he wins, rest of the country will be toast
Hampstead's got a good chance of going Tory, thanks in the main to the Mansion Tax.
Sadly, like most of these professional politicians, he doesn't actually stand in Hampstead does he? So little chance of reaping what he sews...

As I've mentioned in another thread, how does he intend paying his Mansion Tax on a meager PM's salary?

I see plenty of reason, not least sniveling, scummy Miliband's veto on Syrian action.
oops Labour's flippy floppy policies are starting to catch up and this is going to bite them hard.
Blaming Cameron for what is happening now in the Med is par for the course he is a back stabber afterall
It would be exactly the same the other way round.

You hear it in the Commons. "Your party is destroying the country" government changes hands "You've done no better, your party is destroying the country" They're all money grabbing s. It's as simple as that.

Green Party FTW!! rofl I shudder to think what would happen with those muppets in charge.

You just can't do it without the insults can you?

Tell me what the govt were trying to achieve in Syria? And how it would have made things better?
Ask Obama.
It's Ok to admit you don't know btw..

I'll ask him - do you have Obama's number or his PH username? Although I don't think he knows either. At least Labour are starting to understand the legacy of Iraq and are much more cautious about bombing and killing people these days.

And yes, I'll insult Miliband day and night. The nasty st will cost me very significant amounts of money if he scrapes into Downing Street.
Ah Ok - one more reason to vote Labour then smile

Leaving Assad free to bomb his own people worked really well and hasn't contributed in any way to the refugee crisis, of course.

As for the rest, you show yourself to be a typical envy-driven socialist.

You sound like a money obsessed Tory boy.

Assad is fighting Isis, so bombing him would be helping them.

rolleyes to first comment.

Oh yes, it's so simple: Assad is fighting ISIS, so he's on our side! All the conflict in Syria is binary - Assad's army vs ISIS. You should be a military adviser to the US government.

couldn't agree more and thats why I have always wanted the "none of the above " box on the ballot paper.
Thats why I was going to vote UKIP as its the closest thing to a protest vote that could actually do something.
But Labour hold this seat and if the Conservatives are close I will have to think carefully.

You made it out to be more simple than I did.

You nearly got the rolleyes for your politics of envy BS.

Still no explanation about how dropping more bombs would have helped. As you say in another post, the conflict isn't a straightforward one.

Not envy driven - I have no idea about you other than you're a bit rude and vindictive, judging from your comments, hence my jocular remark. Do you struggle with humour?

I don't usually, but I fail to detect any humour from you. I take the Labour Party very seriously. Miliband himself might be a joke, but the real prospect of their being in power is anything but.

I think paul nuttall also made the same point last night on question time. We (the government) supported insurrection, bombed a foreign country, and then left it to disintegrate.

If you make an intervention, you need to leave the country you're bombing in a better state, not worse. That's not easy is it?

Let's see what is in the speech, rather than what's reported to be in it, but why isn't this a reasonable point to discuss?

Btw - not Libyans drowning. It's people from all across the continent.
If the point if fair on the Tories for Libya, then it's equally fair on Labour for Iraq, but of course "someone" is doing their damnedest to bury or neuter the report on that particular fubar aren't they . . .
