Ive not really been following this, but one thing that was brought up in conversation last night got me wondering. Im seeing more and more people post comments on FaceBook(I know..) on the 'YES' pages claiming that when the split happens, they will be free of debt etc as its the UK's debt, not Scotlands. Is this right, or would they have to take a percentage of it?
Although oddly enough they are part of the UK when it comes to talking about EU membership. Bit of a tricky one that...Bacardi said:

Am I the only one who thinks it's unfair on us English, to be completely at the mercy of the Scots in this vote? It's a decision that'll completely change our country if the Yes campaign wins. So why don't we get a vote?
It'd practically guarantee Yes as the outcome. A lot of people I've talked to now have a view along the lines of "If they [Scots] hate us [English] so much they can fk off". Sadly the vicious and vociferous Yes campaign has massively damaged the relationship.I know it's a nasty minority who are using this as an anti-English platform but I'm now at the point I'd rather see Scotland floated off somewhere. There's no way I want to see any further favours in Scotland's direction in the event of No and I want my politicians to bargain extremely hard in the event of Yes.

An interesting quote from an SNP moron on Sky News a minute ago with regards to defence...
"We've seen a doubling of the price of the new aircraft carriers, which we don't need"
Remind me where they're being screwed together?....
If he wants to talk about over runs and escalating costs he need look no further than Scotland's Parliament building!"We've seen a doubling of the price of the new aircraft carriers, which we don't need"
Remind me where they're being screwed together?....

Can't argue that people are already being impacted and jobs being lost.
One of Britain’s leading tool hire companies has warned that the uncertainty surrounding the Scottish referendum has stalled construction activity north of the border.
It says that, despite strong growth in London and regional centres such as Manchester and Birmingham, its Scottish business has registered a double-digit decline in revenues.
“The impasse around independence is having a knock-on effect,” Mark Rogerson, chief executive of Merseyside-based Speedy, told the Financial Times. “Nobody’s investing, nobody’s building.”
