The number 45 does have an unfortunate habit of popping up in Scotland.

Well there's a relatively high correlation (0.76) across the 32 pairs of data (constituencies) with arrays of yes % and benefits claimants %. Feel free to tell us all what you think Pearson’s r would be in those circumstances?
Maybe you can ask one of the above to explain it to you? As any of the first 4 listed should find it really simple.

Bit gutted, moving on...

There's a facebook group called "We are the 45%" it already has over 89,000 members, we're not going back in the box! smile
How gutted will you be when it gets to 1.9 million?

ETA said that in jest and then read that they want to reach 2 million so they can demand a recount lolbiggrin

Also 6 groups with this name.

This was not an election, as you well know.
No, it's a liberation movement. tongue out

So, to be clear.

If the Scots had voted for independence then we would have to accept it.

If they lose they fight forever.

Lol, it is over, said so by Scottish voters.

Are you blind and deaf? Scotland voted to stay in the union, it's not over, you get used to it.

Only in your empty head, fool.

As it turns out you might in fact just have been pawns in a much bigger game vis a vis the effective neutering of the Labour party in Westminster.

You will get some more stuff, but the dividend for others is going to be much greater.

Of course with your blindfold and blinkers on all that's going straight over your head.

There is a much bigger game going on now, you are an irrelevance as of about 6am this morning.

Get used to it.

You then, are destined to die an unhappy and frustrated man. Because there will be no win for you in your lifetime. Quite possibly not in your children's either, or ever after; for once the oil runs out an independent Scotland will be as viable as an independent Wales.

There's a post on the Yes Scotland page about Miliband supposedly reneging on devo max that says at the end:

"If they gave us more powers then everywhere in the UK would demand the same."

So much for fairness and equality! God forbid everyone should be treated the same

Equal vs. Fair ?

It depends on where you start from.

Nope, no-one has been able to parse "Feel free to tell us all what you think Pearson’s r would be in those circumstances?"...

But sure, lots of unemployed people voted Yes, just as lots of old folks who trust the Beeb and people with marginally affordable maxed out credit voted No.

I've mislaid the source (Ashcroft?), but it seems ABs and DEs tended to Yes, Cs to No.
