The "45ers"on my FB feed are getting their knickers in a twist over this article:

I was going to point out the obvious, but I think I'll just leave them to it laugh
I spotted a few rumblings about this on Twitter, the sheer stupidity of morons just astounds me. I can only conclude that we've finally perfected a drool and crayon interface for laptops and mobile devices, otherwise they must be dictating it for their carers to type.

And you should remember the question. Is Scotland a net contributor?

A: even using the best possible figures. NO! It is a drain.

Of course only a complete fking moron would try and rig the result without the entire room being full of journalists with video cameras

And to hide this vote rigging it would be essential to do it in dundee which had the HIGHEST level of YES votes

First Brown, then Millibrain on Marr, now Harmond at the Labour party love-in...all DESPERATE to be seen as the enforcers - the party that'll make sure Westminster delivers on the devo promises.

They, of course, don't want to talk about the West Lothian question quite yet, which would reduce their power in Westminster.

A nat 'friend' just posted this on FB. I've changed my mind, I'm now in favour of Scottish independence. Just put a fence round them, give them their share of the oil revenue and let them get the fk on with it....

EFA.

Given his posts before the vote - and a couple since........i'm starting to have my doubts. His arguments before the vote were very much "Yes" inclined - and now he has started re-posting "the 45%" conspiracy theories...... scratchchin

What ... every Catholic in Scotland voted "yes" to a man/woman ? All 850,000 of them ?
I didn't say that. But I'd love to see the breakdown for Croy or Carfin, or Larkhall on the other side.

This aspect of life here wasn't missed by the BBC or anyone else.It was as you say deliberately avoided by the media, politicos and everyone else, as it's our own pernicious can of worms that no-one want's to go near.
I don't think it's right that the major media platform avoids an issue so prevalent in Scottish society and which obviously played a part in the result.

I was in Glasgow on Wednesday the day prior to the vote, I passed by George Square where a large YES rally was going on . I saw NO-ONE with an Irish flag, and a lot of Blue and White one's and The Proclaimers were playing on the PA system.
Edinburgh last week.

This guys and gals cannot be for real.

Just a taste of the lunacy: biggrin

If 10% of the Yes vote joined the SNP now how many hundreds of percent increase in total membership would that be in total SNP membership (compared to before the referendum vote)?

It would be an increase of over 600%.
The SNP would then be almost tied with Labour as the largest party in the whole of the UK... "

True though, in terms of membership. Labour has 190,000 or so members.

So is that mean that before the referendum the SNP membership was around 20/25 thousand?
According to the poster I've quoted, 10% of the YES vote is about 160 000 people, so for the them to become "almost" as big as the Labour the membership before that was 20/25 k?

So from 5,5 million Scottish people they are about 0.45% of the population and next they would like to become about 3.5%
So at the moment a party representing 0.45% of the population is going to rule the rest......

WOW biggrin

Postal votes were 70%/30% No/Yes. Make of that what you will.
