I have to disagree with you there.....it's 45% and climbing every day....... many are now regretting their no vote. Should anyone in Westminster renege on their "vow", don't imagine it will be taken lightly North of the border....
of course if we had all voted GUESS we would all be millionaires by now in a fully independent scotland

Very easy for team GUESS to bullst and scream about injustice and we are being lied to as the have nothing to provide as they lost

I imagine if you had won we would be seeing that the SNP were full of bullst

Surely its 45% and falling?

The polls were giving you 51? 52? % just before the referendum and it went down to 45% on the 18th Sept.

Whatever happened to your vow of following the 'settled will of the Scottish People'?

Is that right?

So what is it today? 46% in favour of independence? 47%? 48%? 49%? 50%? 55%? 60%? 65%?

Don't bother telling me because it doesn't really matter. The referendum was last week, not this week, not next week.

At the time of the referendum, 55% voted no. And in a referendum, that's the only number that counts. And your side came second.

The flip side being that there are probably a fair few yes voters that regret that decision since voting.

What makes you so sure the change to yes since the referendum is greater?

Obviously reading comments on social media pages aimed at one side or the other is hardly impartial.

Some threads on other sites where YESSERS are discussing where they went wrong.

I was thinking about sending them this.

The YES/NO campaigns remind me of:

Guess which is which.

But no double check via the post... wink

I can list thousands of genuine postcodes, names and addresses really easy and generate thousands of email addresses really simply.
A 7 year old can do it too.

If it doesn't have a letter sent out by post - which they then have to enter a confirmation code- it is total arse gravy.

That's what retaining the sclerotic UK is, in my opinion.

All the potential benefits of the UK are better provided by the EU at less cost and without the historical baggage.

Dundee had 6000 YES 6000 more 16-18 yr old registered to vote than lived in the city boundaries.

So just fk off to South America, your perception of democracy will be most welcome there.. and delete your account whilst at it.

And of course Dundee was also the place in which there was the highest proportion voted yes in the whole of Scotland.

I wonder if that was a coincidence?

fluffnik,
do you work for the EU?
No, but I do think it's mostly a Good Thing.
Being ruled from a foreign country? I thought you were against that sort of thing?
The direction in which powers are devolved is important.

EU member states have devolved powers to the EU voluntarily, the EU cannot take more powers without consent.

Westminster retains the power to reclaim any powers held by Holyrood, indeed the odious House of Lords has already done it once...

I don't think those aims are compatible
A rising tide lifts all boats, surely?
I would hope and expect that the end of the UK would benefit England, Wales and Northern Ireland too. smile

Any evidence to back that up - do you really have the consensus of over 1.6 million people?

....or like the before the vote - is it all anecdotal......."my mate knows this bloke who drinks in his local pub who said a woman who works with his wife was a no voter - but now regrets it"

Usual Tory/UKIP kneejerk reaction..... you may be right in your previous assertion about them not being a credible opposition in Scotland.....
