Yes the oil companies hid all the oil discoveries from us on orders from the london elite
but if we won independence

Then all the oil companies would happily pay 5 times the amount of tax and not moved one single penny to london

Unless you're actually genuine and believe Scotland wouldn't be fked going it alone? If so, you're missing a few things called 'facts'. Let's start with a simple one; if left to its own financial devices, Scotland would be £5 BILLION short each year (and that will increase as oil declines/values drift downward) - will you be sending your cheque for the additional tax required to the Scottish Government any time soon that being the case?

No, didn't think so.

One more time - FIVE BILLION POUNDS SHORT; you'd need another £833 from every man, woman and child in Scotland to plug that hole. There are only around 3m people working in Scotland so assuming that all of the taxes paid go to the local Government every working person would have to cough an extra £1700 just to restore the balance.

At the moment, the English subsidise you, your family and your standard of living (as we do for Wales and NI, too). Talk about biting the hand that literally feeds you.

i have a couple of pro independence mates ,they both base their position on the reality that scotland could be a successful country but it would take a lot of hard work through a period of instability . they were pro true independence though,out of eu and no shared currency with bank of england to wipe scotlands arse should we have a dose of the skitters.
neither of them,nor any others of the same persuasion have uttered any of the ste i read from some on here regarding conspiracy theories . i do not do faecesbook so fortunately i never have to see any of the 45,sorry sore losers ,moaning on a daily basis.please could they do us all a favour ,accept the result of the democratic process ,and shut the fk up.

The UK as a whole runs a MASSIVE deficit

So the spending inlondon must be far far far higher then in scotland

The UK is running a £100billiom deficit - as such Scotland runs a £10 billion a year deficit. So no you don't pay your way infact no one does in the UK - though its possible London does but that info isn't available.

At least the majority of your fellow countrymen had enough sense to know which side their bread is buttered. Read back through this thread and you'll see that despite initially wanting the UK to stay together, people like you managed to quickly change my opinion to one of 'not giving a fk'.

That said I'm not disappointed that Scotland voted to stay - the vast majority are sensible, logical and pleasant people who saw that it's best for Scotland - but you and your ilk are the very ones I said I would tire quickly of putting up with in the event of a No vote.

You're ill-informed and demonstrating incredible delusion. Thankfully you're in a minority.
