Sturgeon on the radio this morning saying it wouldn't be fair if the UK votes to leave the EU if Scots voted to stay. Further divisive politics and evidence that the SNP don't care about the result of the referendum and the considered will of the Scottish people.

Disgusting what they are doing to our countries.
Agree.

She is properly stupid.

Here's the info on each party's view on taxation which I mentioned the other day.

Well there's a shock, the yes parties want to split our country further.

Do we need or want different taxes complicating a highly effective and efficient single market?

I don't, anyway.

The plan is they wouldn't

They would sit there with the hand out asking for more free money

Why do you think europe was so important to them

basically they want the entire country to go on the dole

They didn't want to copy norway

They want to copy greece

In other words, they want to turn a possible in/out EU referendum into another in/out UK referendum. s!

Never thought I'd ever be cheering on Labour but I hope they win the next Holyrood election.

So does that mean she wants the Barnett formulae changed on 1/12/14 to account for the additional Wealth tax from EU or not willing to pay for it?

And Northern Ireland and Wales should effectively have a veto.

Imagine if we'd said all the regions of Scotland had to vote yes for independence hehe

Once all the regions have set up devolved parliaments and full budget and borrowing and at raising powers - does anyone thing the UK govt will start to off load the UK total debt to each region based on a legacy % share of that debt but they own it. Thereafter any new debt they will have created or borrowed themselves OR if its UK foreign affairs or MOD then the UK take on the borrowing but have a defence tax to each region to pay for it - which the regions cannot block (they could cut other taxes to their choice though)

I don't think that'll happen. That's basically independence for regions which isn't wanted.

The UK works incredibly well as a risk pooling, debt sharing entity and common market, with various freedoms for cities regions and nations within. I hope fok stop arsing about with it rather sharpish.

But Scotland is getting Devo Max + and Wales are also making noises about wanting more powers - the vow means this is happening like it or not.

It seems fundamentally incompatible with the basis of the United Kingdom - spending based on need, not where the money comes from...?

Oh I agree and I'd like to see more money go to N Ireland and Wales and n England - though would people accept the Barnett formulae change to accommodate?? Nope.

You can have free Uni education heck the whole UK needs it (given your able to pass min requirements) but if there is a need elsewhere then that has to be stopped for now or tax rises.
