It would be completely unacceptable that the SNP can have their own Parliament AND hold 'king-making' power in UK Parliament as well. If that's the case then the rUK must also be given votes on Scottish matters.
Its looking like a distinct possibility IMO.Miliband is one of the slimiest, fact twisting "flag of convenience" politicians there is, it is not a good prospect.

What I don't get is the solution SNP Labour Plaid Cymru etc give is let's spend more money no more austerity the people cannot take any more.
Um there is no more money spending as is its a structural deficit so just when do they propose to cut?
Also the cuts have not really even began as yet so if they are worried about how things are now then get ready for real pain OR raise taxes for everyone to pay for it. Its either or

Lol probably. they won't be happy until they see the loaded tory traitor s like me sat in a cardboard box
Thing is they must have some sense and not be completely stupid to know they need everyone chipping into the pot and not taking too much out otherwise it simply doesn't reconcile and ultimately bills cannot be paid.

The idea that the Kippers (for example) have that "what we need is a Labour Gov't for 5 years so that St Nigel can ride in in 2020 and rescue us all" is particularly risible IMO. What they fail to recognise is that the whole landscape will be materially different if we let Miliband get his hands on the wheel. Scotland may well be gone & he will devolve as much power in England as he can out to his (permanently) left leaning metropolitan councils. There won't be much left to rescue.
Whatever is left of the UK will be in a socialist grid-lock for years to come thereafter.
IMO people need to think very carefully before they decide to "give the Tories a kicking" because they don't like foreign aid / gay marriage / a few windmills etc + whatever other minor issues they bh on about. The stakes in 2015 are much higher than that IMO.
Salmond's officially resigning today.
Can't work out if he's the biggest failure or success. I suppose as a politician he was a huge success - popular beyond reproach or reprisal.
The man who wanted to split a country, but split the wrong one. Or the right one, for the SNP.
Can't reconcile the situation in my head.
The King of the Trolls in any case.

They're socialists! - of course they don't recognise that!David Cameron has said reform of the Barnett formula - used to set spending in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - "is not on the horizon".
He told the Liaison Committee of senior MPs that as more tax powers were devolved to Scotland and Wales the formula's importance would decline.
Trying to keep everyone, happy perhaps?
