Awww for fook sake

They plan to demolish the quite lovely steps outside the glasgow royal concert hall and extend the life sapping shopping centre next door

I am quite against this as the steps are wonderful in decent weather and have seen many a event

Quite rightly people are having a wee protest

But look in the middle of the crowd

Yep there is a victim card

fking nationalists
Standard miss informed/ignorant nat.

Oh the irony...

It's surely time to close this thread. It's all getting a bit personal now. Independence didn't happen, get over it ( no matter which side of the fence you sit on)
It has more than run its course.

Can't help but notice that the people who keep banging on all over the forum about the Yes voters not being able to let it go, are the ones who keep it going 100x more than anyone else.
I understand the sentiment, but the nationalist danger has far from passed.

Some still want to discuss that.

I have no problem with the Scottish government and building, I really do not care how much it costs, but I do think it should be all funded by the Scottish people, if the people of Scotland want an extra level of politicians, then they should be prepared to pay for it.
Heretic! smile
Yeah that's not how politics in Scotland works. We want our cake, we want UK to pay for it. We're gonna eat it and we want UK to pay us for eating it. Then we'll expect some compo (from the UK) for getting fat. Then we'll want more cake.

And everyone from England must say sorry for breathing

And all Tory voters must be murdered

And all rich people are evil and will be thrown out of Scotland apart from Sean Connery

Don't be a tt.

Sean Connery loves Scotland so much:

1/ He lives closer to the equator
2/ When he isn't there - he lives in London.
3/ On his to-do list is visit Scotland sometime.

It is quite hard to throw someone out of a country - who really has never been in it for the last 40 odd years.

Oh crap... a little bit of wee just come out too.

Let's start with that M74 upgrade. A hundred or so miles. A banner every mile. It works for me.

Didn't take long.

The foodbank one needs a "perpetuated by the SNP despite the ability to do something about it".

Here is an idea

Sell the Audi RS4

Give the money to the poor

But that won't happen

Or we could accept this is simply the cost of modern life - don't like it? Tough, deal with it and accept it, or check out early - I believe a one way trip to Switzerland is available at a relatively reasonable expense. Other methods of checking out early are also available (but without legal assistance).

Vile cybernats abuse Nick Robinson after it is revealed he has a lung tumour.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/11443421/...

I seem to remember that Nick's "offense" was merely to demand that the sainted Alex Salmond actually answer a question that he'd have preferred not to answer (and still didn't).

You'll always get a very small minority of wkers in all political walks of life, especially keyboard warriors behind the anonymity of a computer screen, hopefully anything too vile will result in a knock at the door by the boys in blue

Here's hoping NR gets the all clear after treatment, cancer is a !!

To pull you up on your statement, the BBC acknowledged the following -:

The broadcaster acknowledged that the report “was inaccurate” in terms of implying Mr Salmond “didn’t answer” Mr Robinson’s questions.

Last time I looked, including a geographic share of oil taxation revenues (which , for the benefit of your average economically illiterate nationalist are not the same as oil production values or revenues) Scotland runs a deficit and has done for about as long as anyone can recall.

Salmond didn't answer the particular question posed, and in that respect Robinson was correct.
