The SNP are now demanding control off the BBC in scotland so they can correct the anti Scottish bias

I've never voted for the SNP. This is very undemocratic. How does one go about getting independence for my house?

I wonder if things would be different if everyone in Scotland was white and everyone in England was black. Would so many people stand up and say I want to be ruled by someone the same colour as me.

Replace Nationalism with Racial...ism. Ha. Somehow I think people would think twice.

I think with the "friendly" banter (bigotry) between Scotland and England over the years. Mostly seen in sport ofcoarse. Along with the "We are better than them" style campaign from the Nationalists open bigotry has somehow become acceptable in Scotland.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/kim-sears...

It did make me cringe a little when I heard this story but what I found worrying was the absolute support that she got from some of my fellow scots for her apparent bigotry.

Why, because they're able to pick holes in the SNPs mandates?

Ah the victim card (again)

Actually the BBC gave the SNP a very very very soft ride

They could of taken them into tiny weeny little pieces but they never did

not once did i hear about the letters written to the SNP stating exactly what the positions of the EU was from the EU. All i heard from the BBC is how the SNP stated they would be never outside of the EU

Not once did they question the free everything logic

If they wanted they could of torn the SNP up for arse paper just by getting anyone with an IQ higher then a spoon to challenge them

Because Alex Salmond didn't answer Nick Robinson's question, and Nick Robinson said so?

I still can't believe what an easy ride they got for all their lies.

No real MPs in Westminster could get anyway near the liberties and lying shown by the SNP & its MSPs during the neverendum.

Intelligent scots should be outraged that the BBC never got anyone with an IQ higher than a spoon to point out the gaping holes and blatent lies.

Rememeber when some idiot in the SNP decided to rewrite Scottish history on the "visit Scotland" website and make it all about how great the SNP were. Ministry of Public Elightenment in full swing.

Would you describe yourself as a Nationalist Edinburger?
That depends on how you define 'nationalist'.

If you mean do I think that the people of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland deserve political self-determination then yes - and I think that should be acheived by increased devolved powers.

Do I think that Scotland (or any other component country of the UK) should be ir would be better off independent? That answer is No.

Does that help?
Not sure.

Would you say, "Yes, I am a Scottish Nationalist and support the SNP objectives, including where they act in the interests of Scotland above those of the wider UK."

Thinking about it, as you support the divisive free uni policy, I have to conclude you would in principle.

The question is, would you admit it? Would you actually say the sentence in quotes, or are you uncomfortable with it? If the latter, why is that?

This is what terrifies me about the SNP

The control freaky and authoritarianism

People in jail for singing the wrong songs at a football match and school kids being taught to sing nationalist songs at school

Want full control over the media

Anyone who says anything against the government is outed on social media

SNP MPs to be silenced from daring to speak out against the leader

Edinburgh

If as you state that the scottish government don't charge scottish students fees but charge the english students is purely to stop all the english flooding up here for free education and it is nothing to do with hating the english then explain this

If a scottish student goes down to england the scottish government WON'T pay their fees

http://www.gov.scot/Topics/Education/UniversitiesC...

Surely if it was purely to help the people of scotland then pay someone to study in england is a no brainer

That is what the welsh do they give a student X amount of pounds if they are from wales no matter where they are studying

Compare and contrast:

1. The new standings orders state that any MP must "accept that no member shall within or outwith the parliament publicly criticise a group decision, policy or another member of the group".

2. On July 14, with no other parties remaining, the [] government passed the Law Against the Establishment of Parties, which stated, “The [] Party constitutes the only political party in [].” Anyone attempting to establish a party other than a [] Party would be “punished with penal servitude up to three years or with imprisonment or with imprisonment of from six months to three years.”

Very good point well made.

What annoys me though is its free in Scotland as they are funding it by reducing the budget for the Scottish NHS. Its much lower now than England NHS spend.

They now start saying they have to have a vote on English budgets as it impacts the NHS in Scotland and England have harmed the Scottish NHS. All utter lies.

Why are the FMQs clear on this ? Why are the Scottish people accepting this as a good outcome?

What I don't get is that you benefit from free education and prescriptions in scotland yet bleat about it, england chooses not to provide it yet you bleat about it... If education wasn't free and prescriptions weren't free in scotland you would bleat about it, so what will make you happy?
