Oh really, the wholesale use is being banned?

http://www.personneltoday.com/hr/zero-hours-contra...

No date has been set for the introduction of the legislation.

  • Awaits flurry of tantrums & tourettes as a retort
You do realise there are no dates for introduction of any legislation at present because...... there's an election?
And are you aware that there is no argument in the bill regarding the wholesale use of 0HR contracts?

Bang on the money as usual drunk apart from one party wants to leave Europe, halt UK immigration, keep the Union together and curb workers rights, that would be the SNP, oh no wait a minute...............

So you agree that

Both blame those to the south for our ills

Both refuse to acknowledge leaving a union will create issues for business

Both are riding a wave of discontent with Westminster

No one is entirely sure if they are right or left wing

Both have a history of supporting the tory party

Stroppy

Who would you react if the UK government decided to base trident in england?

Fired every single person employed at faslane

And then flattened faslane so it was completely un-usable for anything?

Ok so why are you interested in a car enthusiast website? You appear not to have much interest in cars so ?

Why would I expect a Tory Unionist to put his fellow citizen over the altar of capitalism?

I'd have been more surprised if you actually criticised the likes of Sports Direct etc who use Zero Hour contracts as a mass recruitment tool and not for those who are happy to get a couple of hours here and there to suit their lifestyle

Do you agree with Vince Cable's proposed ban on employer exclusivity?

I'm never going to change your mind regarding exploitative zero hour contracts, so why waste both our time?
I care ever so much for my fellow citizens. That's why I voted to keep the United Kingdom together, to protect our society from imminent disaster. Unlike our present Scottish government and many voters, who couldn't give a hoot about society and just want to destroy and rebuild countries and economies.

I'm not sure you know what "my mind" is regarding zero hour contracts. I don't believe the contracts themselves are a problem - any employer:employee relationship can be exploitative, in fact, as links provided here have shown, zero hour contract workers can be more content than others.

What is your position on them? We should ban them all?
Your links showed that every person on a Zero Hour contract is happy and not being exploited?

And answer the question, Do you agree with Vince Cable's proposed ban on employer exclusivity?

Edited by Strocky on Tuesday 14th April 11:22
My links showed that a greater percentage of workers on zero hours contracts were happy with their work life balance IIRC. My links didn't show that every person on a zero hour contract is happy and not being exploited, no. I didn't claim they did.

I don't know about the ins and outs of employer exclusivity or the proposal. On the face of it, it looks like a decent idea as I can't see a situation in which exclusivity could be mutually beneficial for employee and employer. I can see why employers would want to stop their employees using their expertise and making money for the competition, though.

What is your proposal for zero hour contracts?

So you are driving away business today

What would it be like if you had won

and

And what advantage is there to YOU for that voice to be friendly to england

If the SNP can make keeping scotland a MASSIVE vote loser in england what party will support keeping scotland in the 2018 independence referendum?

Of course you will not answer this as you know i speak the truth
It's the SNP long term strategy, fortunately for them, your average Little Englander is too thick to see the trap

Multi. Never heard of that. Sounds like the lingo of a professional cybernat.

Do they give you lessons in being a 'multi', and hiding your tracks?

I typed Multi into Google and the top things which came out were sever disabilities hence me leaving it a very open post. I didn't expect him to mean multiple user names.

Still wondering why he joined a car enthusiast website 5 months ago only ever posted on Scotland politics and refuses to talk about cars....
If it looks like a duck quacks like a duck then it's probably a duck. I'm calling Custard on him. Challenge laid down now.

If the Unionist bed wetters can take their tinfoil caps off long enough to realise I'm fairly visible online since the days of AOL dial up, Christ I was "outed" by a couple of Hifiwigwam posters months ago on this very thread, then they might stop embarrassing themselves publically for the whole of the WWW to see

Paranoia and delusions of supremacy ain't a good look
