Trivia

The bagpipes used in the soundtrack for the documentary braveheart were actually irish bagpipes as scottish ones are too unpleasant

I was hoping that as punishment for having the referendum that scottish bagpipes would be completely banned (apart from when you are riding a unicycle dressed as darth vader playing the imperial march)

They haven't sadly

Of course not. But it's nice to remind him that we know he never adds any value to this debate by way of his own personal opinions.
I never add personal opinions? You know that's not true, simoid.

If you read the article you'll find it's not just bagpipes which are targeted.

Is that a factoid? I don't even remember any scene in Braveheart where bagpipes are played but I'll look out for them during my weekly viewing tomorrow.

The moment has passed as the referendum has happened.

What we need is people on both sides of the debate - including YOU - to accept the outcome and move on.

You haven't got it memorized?

The SNP will be marking your card as a traitor

They are on the soundtrack not in the film

I'll be happy to amend my statement to "rarely" if you can quote an instance where you have provided your personal insight or analysis on the referendum.

When the DUP are actually pointing out the obvious to the Tory Party and they still aren't listening, then it might be time to actually direct your ire at them and not the SNP for the breakup of the Union Wigothy wink

Here's an opportunity for some personal insight on a historical matter, Edinburger. "In your opinion", what other possible reason was there for voting yes, not included below?

McWigglebum4th said:
And the reason 1.6million voted YES despite the obvious lies from the SNP i put down to the following factors

1 Being morons
2 Hating the English
3 Believing the lies that everything wrong in there life was the fault of those to the south (or is that UKIP voters)
4 Hating the 2 main parties in westminster and grasping any straw to get rid of them (or is that UKIP voters)
5 A deep rooted desire for independence of scotland even if it would wreck the economy and bring huge hardships to the poor
5 A belief that we are somehow better then others and we are being held back by them (or is that UKIP voters)

A quick Google shows that one track in Braveheart makes use of the uilleann pipes, which are Irish.

Latest Scottish Westminster Polling - TNS
SNP 54% (+2)
Labour 22% (-2)
Conservatives 13% (0)
LibDems 6% (0)

Can't see it myself but would be a seismic shift up here
