I'm no fan of Ms Sturgeon but mostly it reminds me of a similar baseless smear against Nigel Farage. Dirty politics is dirty politics and should not inform your views no matter who is the target.

But does the shoe fit?

It does a bit, many would suggest. Her cries of "civic nationalism" being OK are rather hollow, are they not? The smear is not entirely baseless, infact it is dangerous to stick your head in the sand and pretend there are no parallels; the Ministry or Enlightenment is alive and well as the news today shows.

If it's all being centrally orchestrated then it does have the ring of some of the things that the Nazis did in the 1920s. Obviously it's nowhere near what they later became.

Do you have any idea how offensive and utterly out of order that is?

I assume you know the square root of sod all about the rise of national socialism in the 1930s?

I think the article is pretty spot on, if a bit Daily Mail-ish..

Funny that all through the referendum debate we were called every name the SnaziP could think of. They made us out to be illegal occupiers and gave us names to suit. Give a little back and they start crying.

Apparently this is bang out of order but 55% of the people who voted to be part of a country which uses the pound as a currency, is a member of the EU and has a national health service are cowards and traitors

utterly disgraceful behaviour ,they should be ashamed of themselves . exactly the same carry on in kirkcaldy today. at least in this instance the snp have attempted to distance themselves from the clowns, unlike salmonds stance when the same happened to farage. makes me ashamed to be a scot when things like this happen ,and makes some of the opinions toward us on here seem justified.
You do know that it was 4 half wits who aren't SNP members, who have previous for protesting Labour events who caused the stooshie?

That's the beauty of social media, the truth has that inconvenient way of exposing orchestrated smears by the Unionist parties

It's utter despiration frankly that such tactics need to be used to try to win votes.

Normal behaviour is the MPs right of free speech and entitlement to canvass throughout the general election. To use tactics to really prevent the SNPs key opposition is disgusting but shows they are really concerned about the result. The referendum they were confident of a total victory breaching 60% however actual results were materially short of that.

Seems these SNP sort cannot allow support of any party but their own and if you do your a traitor.....

I enjoy the fact that Fluffnick black swan stocky etcs votes are nullified by posters here. Must be infuriating knowing that their specific vote is utterly worthless smile, and rather than trying to convert through reasoned debate about the policies they resort to primary school style topic avoidance La la la la cannot hear you and utter refusal to acknowledge that a policy /view can be wrong & when literally proved wrong it's then oh should of set up an oil fund 40 years ago --- but we didn't so throughout that time we the whole of the UK has benefitted from lower taxation and/or higher public spending.

I'm from Greenock originally. This pic has been circulating a bit in my newsfeed understandably.

I'm not particularly proud of my home town, for all sorts of reasons. This sort of thing us up there with them.

But I wonder if the good 'Reverend' would be keen, in the interest of balance, to share on his page the story - also out of Greenock - of the gentleman who threatened voters outside of a polling station with "vote YES or I'll detonate my semtex vest". This was only the second time he had threatened to blow up voters, having done so at the last GE.

Sadly, I know the guy quite well. He certainly has a screw loose, but I reckon he and Reverend Campbell might get on pretty well actually.
