Due to the pig being kryptonite to these loons I would unleash my pork sword

Keep a couple of mini Melton Mowbray grenades in your pocket too. £2 for six in Tesco.

In the press maybe but I'd say the vast majority are still very non-PC. I hear stuff every day at work that would be final warning material in the UK.

Just been talking to a friend in Sydney , seems the Muslim community there are planning a demonstration tonight against acts of propaganda carried out by Australian security forces , this is not going to end well .
Where next ?
So rather than demonstrating against the extremists putting their faith in a bad light, they're demonstrating against security forces who have saved lives and prevented terrorist attacks?

Makes sense........

Why do you think it hasn't? Particularly given how easy it would be to do.

...and when it does happen, will people start arming themselves?

It's different with bombs and suchlike, as logic says being tooled up will make zero difference. However, if we start to see street attacks with knives etc, conventional logic would suggest you'd be as well giving yourself a fighting chance with a weapon - in the absence of circumstances allowing you to run.

Sadly, the laws of this country would never allow it. We'll always have to rely on armed response units from the police, who will only ever turn up after the bullets start flying and the deaths are already piling up. I can say for certain that if I was a US citizen living in a state where concealed carry laws permitted me to carry an appropriate firearm, I'd never leave the house without it. The chances of an individual ever having to use their gun in public for a legitimate purpose are one in a million, but if I was that one in a million, I'd like the chance to defend my own life, or the life of another, instead of being killed and waiting for the police to turn up after I'm dead. Sadly, the defenceless citizens of the UK, and the rest of Europe, must accept that if these attacks do happen, we'll be defenceless and many people will die before the event can be brought under control.

Nice, random abductions and you-tube beheadings planned!yikes
Cool. Some rehabilitation, and then some compensation for religious discrimination, and they'll be back on the streets.

Too right but nobody has the balls , hopefully Australia will set an example to others . Only takes a very small percentage to be radical and we're fked , they're all over just waiting for their moment of glory whilst the world sits back and does nothing .

Well this should give Australian politicians enough local support now for their troops to take action in Iraq/Syria. Nice timing by the Aussie Jihadis.
Aussie Special Forces are already on the ground in Iraq directing the US air attacks vs the ISIS forces. This is precisely why Aussies have been targeted.

We've just handed weapons to the Kurdish Peshmerga and painted targets on our own backs.

The ISIL instruction to Australian supporters was given way before Oz formally announced they were sending troops - weeks before in fact.

I don't have the inside track but I knew that. I also disagree with your why and think something similar inevitable regardless of sending troops.

How many imminent Islamic attacks are you expecting in Switzerland? Or Brazil? Or China? Or Russia?

It's not an inside track. It's been widely reported.
