Sorry. Didn't realise you had the inside track on this.
It's not an inside track. It's been widely reported.
What Colonial said. This isn't secret squirrel, it's just news. Seems like the threat of this in Oz has been live for about 3 weeks, arrests made this week after they'd done some digging.

Well this should give Australian politicians enough local support now for their troops to take action in Iraq/Syria. Nice timing by the Aussie Jihadis.
Aussie Special Forces are already on the ground in Iraq directing the US air attacks vs the ISIS forces. This is precisely why Aussies have been targeted.

We've just handed weapons to the Kurdish Peshmerga and painted targets on our own backs.
The ISIL instruction to Australian supporters was given way before Oz formally announced they were sending troops - weeks before in fact.
Sorry. Didn't realise you had the inside track on this.
I don't have the inside track but I knew that. I also disagree with your why and think something similar inevitable regardless of sending troops.
How many imminent Islamic attacks are you expecting in Switzerland? Or Brazil? Or China? Or Russia?

Muslims murder on average 5 people a day in southern Thailand. They didn't arm the kurds

You are mistaken if you believe that the extremists are really fighting for anything other than their own self interest.
Their interests being to indulge their wild fantasies of misogyny and medieval interpretations of the Qur'an.

This constant claim that we have bought this on ourselves is totally wrong. Look what happened in Denmark over just a cartoon in a tiny provincial newspaper.

It seems to me to be victim blaming self flagellation.

Exactly. It's a tribal thing, not a Muslim thing.

Islamophobes see the religion as an amorphous homogenous blob all singing from the same nasheed sheet.

IS Muslims are killing Muslims.

IS don't consider those they kill to be real Muslims. The same goes for all islamic terrorists.

They are killing Muslims of the gourd ( and of course all none Muslims) and letting their own followers of the sandal live.

I'm afraid it is you who is making them an amorphous blob, they are not.

You can bury your head in the sand. You can forget hugely reported cases of Muslims murdering in china and Russia. But what you cannot do it say it has nothing to do with Islam. Because at the very least they think they are and they are following the Korans instructions. I suppose it's just a coincidence they are setting up sharia law in areas they capture.

Several friends of Mr Haider have confirmed to Fairfax Media that he had been killed after stabbing two police officers.
"He was the best kid, [who] never harmed anyone, never missed a prayer," one friend said.

I guess they missed the part where he stabbed two police officers
