didn't china 'wash their hands' with them about a year ago when NK threw their toys out the pram?

I guess all it would take is for them to fire a rocket across their borders and all hell would break loose.

In a perfect world, and S Korea supplants that piemiester in the North with a free and fair country, China will not be too happy over that. Don't forget the Chinese authorities do not give a jot about the poor saps suffering. But a free country with ties to the US and west on the door step as it stands?

Yes China is tiring of NK but not to the extent that they are willing to let any roundeyes do anything active in the area and we all know how much love there is between China and Japan.
