Don't be silly...get ruined putting the dog in it and a bit of towing ....apart from the depreciation!!!! .... fairly old one with, very low mileage, FSH and owned by a judge. Current second car only done 5k in last 4 yrs.. extra fuel cost far outweighed by the extra comfort, space & 4wd IMO.

Brilliant! Love that car!

I do worry that our cars will be legislated off the roads in the future if the EU get their way.

Perhaps we'll all end up having to choose some Bavarian identikit car......

@FGoria: EU tells Britain to pay extra €2.1bn http://t.co/6OjuEVQuV6

Ft link is a pain, but basically because the UK is showing some growth, the EU wants a shed load more.

fk off I say

"3 million jobs" rolleyes
Does that mean that we will stop trading with Europe and they will disappear if we leave the EU?
The current security situation in Sweden is actually a cover for drills to create a naval blockade between the UK and the RoE in the event of our departure.

/XJFlyer.
That's ok....we will just have to use our new found powers of independence and negotiate some trade deals with the rest of the world then.
Parrot for sir!

So are we forever committed to paying a tax on the UK being more successful than the rest of the EU? What a great mutual relationship...

Cameron needs to lead, and lead for the UK here - this is a big issue this close to an election.

you have to admire the EU moguls..

their sense of timing is just exquisite...

just reading the numbers, so that puts our net contribution up to £8.6Bn? (pretty sure it's already higher than this?), but at that level, EU is costing us £23.56M a day.

when you consider the current discussions over the NHS and how we need at least another £8Bn a year for it, how do we justify these EU payments?

Apparently this demand is based on historical figures showing improvement in our economy.

Time for Cameron to show his true colours. Either he fights (and denies them the money) or he's a puppet. Are we even going to open a book on this...?

Love the comments on this in the Guardian.

One points out that this calculation is based on including hidden economy like drug dealing and prostitution.

So the French hookers are doing worse than ours.

Not quite sure who is being f***ed where and by whom.
