Yes we will all wait for the declaration of his tremendous success in renegotiating a £50 rebate.
When did we become such an easy touch
As early as during/after WW2 or as late as joining the EEC, depending on when you think the tipping point was.

He is rather good with words.

I listened to phone-in programmes on both LBC and BBC Radio London this morning.

"Mr. Angry of Essex" really sounded very, very annoyed.

Since when has a millionaire ex-public-school stockbroker been a victim of financial mismanagement? I will give him kudos for managing to benefit from the "personalities before principles" which sadly dominates UK Politics. If he'd have died in his plane-crash UKIP would have too, without him they'd be nowhere.

He did not go to public school. Go troll somewhere else
So, Farage *didn't* go to Dulwich College?

He's willing to be smeared and called everything under the sun for his views, seems pretty principled to me. I'm not aware of any time he has changed his position on subjects to win votes.

Do you have a problem with people who had their education paid for?

my Grandfather did the full 14/18 and my Dad the 39/45 I doubt they gave so much of their young lives to be then dictated to by the very same people they fought and help free.
Yes I know its a long time ago but I still think its relevant .

Absolutely, and it's relevant to me too. Unfortunately IMO WW2 was not the victory most think it is, as it was the end of Britain as an independent power. Soon after we were bowing to the Americans, and then the EU (which indirectly is mainly the Americans too).

ETA: You are around the age of my patents. Both of my Grandfathers fought in WW2. My parents are strongly leftish (although they dislike Labour). I still cannot get my head round it as both of their fathers fought for their country... Actually I think it comes down to a lack of understanding/belief about what has/is happening to Britain and other European countries as a result of the EU.

He is a tax payer. So am I, so are many who vote UKIP, irrespective of what school they went to.

Anyone who pays taxes is being shafted by the EU.

Do you not pay taxes?

Nigel Farage IS UKIP, without him they'd be a spent force and their band of elected officials a laughing stock as a result of their inability to keep their "bongo-bongo land" opinions hidden from public view and scrutiny. I don't have a problem with people who have their education paid for merely pointing out statistically this means their less likely "victims" of financial mismanagement.

Do you have any interest in cars or have you joined PH as a paid troll? You only seem to post in political threads, and have only been a member for a month, and are having to rely on pathetic smears for an argument. They don't really wash here. Yes Bloom was/is a bit nutty (probably harmless though, apart from politically), you can find them in all parties.

Carswell is UKIPs MP in Westminster.

Calling UKIP 'the National Front in disguise' is rather childish.

Either you are a troll, very stupid, or a very stupid troll.

Do you think UKIP would be as popular without Farage? I don't.

Carswell? The only reason he won his seat again was because he was a good constituency MP and known to his voters, he couldn't lead UKIP to maintain the support they currently enjoy, without Farage they'd be nothing.

So? Would the Labour party have won repeatedly for years without Blair?

Guys, he's really not worth the effort. He's not here to debate or learn. He's here to smear and distract.

I think he lent it to XJ Flyer, and told him that it was the UK Trident Master-Override Nuclear Release Button. It's now broken, as is XJ Flyer's right index finger.
