Perhaps, but it wouldn't be unusual for her...

Not defending her. She's a putrid waste of space as far as I'm concerned. However getting excited about a fake twitter picture is pretty tragic.
The double standards are amazing.

Also what should he have learned from his ban, that he is "not allowed" to say what he thinks?
Just so that we're clear, you're supporting Scuffers' right to refer to someone as a "raving poofter" because they do something he doesn't approve of and they happen to be gay?

I'm convinced; no more immigrants from Romania - they're all shoplifters.

Or maybe, just maybe, it might be an idea to have control over which Romanians we welcome and which we don't? smile

I noted the bit I quoted from the article; that someone came to the UK on the promise of work, which didn't materialise.

I wonder how that could have happened? scratchchin

I'd have felt more tempted to feel sympathetic if he'd been caught stealing, say potatoes. But eleven hundred quids worth of vodka?

Indeed, even if this is the only Romainian shoplifter ever, we should be able to send him home and ban him from ever re-entering the UK. As good as a life sentence.

Yes, I am supporting anyone to say whatever they like.

There was a great TED talk about this, who decides upon censorship, and who censors the censor. Who are you to decide what I say, why are your morals better than my own?

OK, you don't like me, I can live with that!

on the whole, I don't care if I like somebody or not, I care about are they doing the right thing, in this case his job, as opposed to wasting public money on his personal projects.

I am sure the good people of the somerset plains love him too for wasting time and money on gay rights rather than the job the EA were supposed to be doing.

for the record, I am not anti gay or homophobic as you put it, I just don't have tne for people that abuse their public paid for positions to bang on about their personal causes.

I personally think that the gay right movement has done more harm to their own cause than just about anybody else by shoving it down the public's collective gullet to the point we are all sick and tired of it.
And had you put it like that from the outset you wouldn't have been banned, would you.

More hair-trigger moderation on here.

'If we don't like your opinion or it conflicts with our company policy (ie Haymarket aka the prime minister who never was) then you're gone.

What a crock of ste.

At risk of repeating myself again, this really does sum it up.

Now, who wants to list the candidates on here this applies to?
