Yeah, after the election, time to make up partially plausible stories and hide evidence etc.

I would suggest Helena Kennedy or Dinah Rose. Mike Mansfield is too loony.

Helena Kennedy's relationship with Common Purpose might be considered questionable in such an investigation.

Perhaps. But it's an organisation which trains and networks a lot of senior public sector staff in areas which are going to be part of the investigation.

I think similar objections are likely to be findable for anyone who is part of the London establishment. Even human rights lawyers.

It sounds like you may need a Diversity training refresher. And I am sure any such network of very clever and gifted people only have our best interests at heart.

That's obviously a very old photograph and reframing technology has improved a lot since then.

Jim Gamble QPM on Radio 4's WATO spoke a lot of sense.

She's gone. Eleven minute interview on Radio 4 in a minute.

Statutory Inquiry as Jim Gamble QPM suggested?

Redrafting a letter seven times and the involvement of the Home Office is a bit dodgy.

The way things are going, there's a danger the truth of this sordid affair won't be in the public domain in time for the general election.

Tessa Munt, MP for Wells (LibDem) and victim of child sexual abuse said why don't we get someone from abroad. She agreed with the woman from the support group on before her, but didn't explicitly state that a Judge led Statutory Inquiry is needed.

Fiona Wolff said 'With hindsight', 'learning lessons' and 'needing to get the show on the road for the victims'. I think that last one was an unfortunate choice of phrase.

I'm increasingly of a mind that there are dark forces at work who wish to derail the inquiry completely or at least kick the can far enough down the road to ensure they escape.
