I don't see any 'Vague, unconfirmed rumours', just normal rag slightly sensational reporting

The DM story says:

50 riot officers frantically search The Scotsman building on Cockburn Street
Police say they are looking for a man on a roof in the city centre
The chaotic scene is close to where a shooting was reported earlier

No guns, but no details either apart from "something happened" which brought out lots of burly coppers in riot gear and a number of firefighters. BBC clicky
