2 questions :

1- why did the guy walk off and leave cameron and open the car door, surely somebodys supposed to be in front keeping a eye out?

2- why didn't anyone rugby tackle the guy as he was running in?
if your out in town and somebody's running straight towards you , that's normal it grabs your attention that somethings up, if your guarding the prime minister surely that would be even more abnormal?

Consequence of action. Choose to run at the PM then take what is handed out. Tough crap, boohoo, your dead. Shame they were crap at their job really. I now see why they work for the Mets DPG and aren't earning big bucks in the Stan.

Apparently, Russell Brand's PR team deny any involvement.

A spokesman said, "With an elderly security team like that, this man is far too thick, dimwitted and out of touch with the general public to be David Cameron. He's clearly on drugs."

This is one of the ruling class and for most of us their wrongs will never be met with any kind of comeuppance. Look at bLiar, most of you guys want him hung.

I'm not anything about CMD, he's just another printed person born to lead us like the rest of them.

The hypocrisy on this website though sometimes equals the daily mails comment section.

I agree, from the video, he had every opportunity to side step to the right and miss running straight into our PM, probably want planned, but he saw who he was about to run past, and decided he didn't want to run past, he was not running down the pavement, but straight into the object/bin behind the PM.

It wasn't an attack, as he would not just have run Into him, but he deserved being floored by the very lax protection. Who need a big word in there ear, even if some knobheads on here think he is worse than labour, he is the PM.

It proves what I've always thought. If you wanted to bump off a member of the establishment be it Prime Minister, Royalty or other it really would be very simple. It further reinforces that the vast majority of money and manpower invested in security, be it close protection or other is wasted and pointless.

His running past him is about as believable as a teenager saying "I missed and scored brown....."

No, I'd say without any shadow of doubt, he's a policeman.
Yep, and he's asleep while he should be arresting that homeless man.

You support assaulting democratically elected prime ministers? Really? Just this one or all of them?

I've seen the video and I don't believe for a minute that the crusty bumped Dave by accident. Seeing as the police gave us 'pleb-gate' without any qualms, could it now be they're giving us 'dodger-gate'?

yes

Sooner or later some crazy terrorist outfit or mad loner will whack a top politican in broad daylight at close range and we will instantly be aghast when we realise how stty security has been in the face of the ever present threat that they face. It really is shocking at how vulnerable they are; only slightly less shocking is the fact that this hasn't been exploited yet. Hopefully the proverbial lessons will be learned from this event.

I'm guessing your too young to remember the mainland attacks by the IRA then? Grand Hotel Brighton? Earl Mountbatten? Airey Neave? Ian Gow? Mortar attack on No. 10, I'm sure there are others to add to that list.

I think on the whole, as a country, we shrug of the threats of terrorist attacks quite well and don't let it ruin our day to day lives.

The events/murders you list were all bomb attacks, which are quite distinct from the type
of brazen, unsophisticated walk up attacks that that could well have occured today, and could be carried out any looney acting alone.
