To my knowledge if you want to send me back to where my 'forefathers' were 'a few hundred years ago' that would leave the choice between Lincolnshire or Hampshire.

Now explain to me how the London suicide bombers or Lee Rigby's murderers are supposedly the same nationality as me assuming a definition of nationality based on the Italian model of jus sanguinis.

As opposed to the model of jus soli and bearing in mind their obvious alienation with our society.The obvious question then being why has our government ( and obviously yourself )conveniently chosen that latter definition of nationality as opposed to the former.

Also bearing in mind that nowhere have In said that such a change in nationality status would mean automatic large scale repatriation.At least until/unless the options of resettlement have been tried to reduce the issue of localised over representation and enclaves in certain areas of the country compared to others.Such as a reduction in the immigrant loading on the South East and Midlands etc v Scotland,Wales and the far North/North West and far West of England.

"recent" Pakistani immigrants aren't actually entitled to benefits (their passports will say "No recourse to public funds" IIRC. They also wont get indefinite leave to remain if they cant demonstrate that they are able to support themselves.

FWIW I doubt it was "recent" immigrants who were responsible for this incident. It was probably members of the UK born and raised chav underclass that lives in many of our towns and cities. The "recent immigrants" would have been working for £15 a day in some warehouse or factory.

My dad was born to a mother and father from Italy and my mum's parents are Irish. I was born in the UK and have a Scottish accent. Are you telling me I'm not British?

Assuming that my 'Irish heritage',in the form of an Irish grandmother,counted me out on the basis of the commonly accepted definition of jus Sanguinis and assuming that I agreed with the ideology of Devalera and the continuity IRA as opposed to her Irish nationalist background which supported the agreement signed by Michael Collins.Then just maybe you'd have a case.Although the Irish government has never supported the position of the anti Irish Treaty forces either.

Or assuming that what remained of her family hadn't been broken up and subsequently lost to her because of the Brit shooting of the only breadwinner and person of sufficient age left to raise what remained of that family with two parents lost to fatal illness.In which case she probably would never have been brought here as a child.In which case I'd never have been born into English nationality,based on and English Father,half Irish/English mother,two English Grandfathers/Great Grandfathers etc etc and an English Grandmother/Great Grandmother etc etc.

However to my knowledge disagreeing with the dangerously deluded ideology of socialism and everything it stands for or any of the above would not be sufficient reason for me to be deported to Ireland.Either under a definition of nationality based on jus Sanguinis or jus Soli.

Unlike the repatriation of those suicide bombers or Lee Rigby's murderers.
