Nothing new.

Fat/old/ugly bloke miraculously transformed into fanny magnet by money/power/flash motor. [delete as appropriate]

To quote Mrs Merton, "so tell me Debbie, what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?"

True story: when I was just 25 i got my first TVR, a Griffith.

Now I am not in the mould of trad-PH director/powerfully built etc. etc. although I've always had (very nice) girlfriends (always felt I at least punched my weight in that regard) since my early teens, but getting this car was a real eyeopener.

I was with the now Mrs Digga at the time, but had I so wished, could have easily got into a lot of trouble. Driving through town (bearing in mind, this being the Midlands, not anywhere particularly well-heeled), I literally had pairs of very attractive girls wolf whistling for attention, girls thumbing rides. The sudden, obvious, increase in flirtatious and downright predatory behaviour was staggering.

I'm not sure it's an aphrodisiac. Those gold diggers women just want their money and influence, they're not actually attracted or turned on by them. hehe

As a rebuttal I'd be tempted to post a piccie of John Major and Edwina Currie, but it's Friday and many people will have suffered enough already.

They should shows these examples to boys before they embark on GCSEs and A Levels, encourage them to work harder.

In the case of Hollande maybe it was the fresh croissants paid for by the French taxpayer and delivered by the bodyguard in the morning?
