Interesting shoelace conspiracy regarding the NY shooting.
I'm generally allergic to conspiracies, especially the "everything is a false flag" crowd, but that is indeed curious. To those who have not seen it :-

As shown in the above article, Brinsley's final Instgram posting clearly shows his left shoe with no laces, yet in the photos of him being loaded into the ambulance after shooting himself, both his shoes are laced. I'm struggling to think of a reasonable explanation?

I think the whole right to bare (is that the right bare?) arms thing is a load of cobbles and just means you are more likely to get shot, but that is the law there and up to them. Even so, everyone knows American Police carry guns and are a bit trigger happy, so if you are going to rob someone in the US and carry a gun which you then point at a policeman, there is a pretty good chance that what ever the colour of your skin you are going to get pumped full of lead.
Having short sleeves gives you the right to bare arms, the 2nd amendment gives you the right to bear arms.hornet said:

I've looked at the Instagram picture and it seems fairly clear to me that there were laces in the left shoe - they just seemed to be pulled tight against the shoe tongue. To those who have not seen it :-

Are we talking about the same Instagram picture? This is the one I was referring to, and certainly no laces in-situ. You can see imprints on the tongue where laces were, but unless he re-laced his shoes prior to shooting himself (which seems unlikely for someone fleeing a murder scene), we're left with something of a continuity problem, as we go from no laces in last photo whilst alive to laced up shoes when dead. I don't generally side with the tinfoilistas, but this is odd.ETA - reading elsewhere, it is suggested the "laceless" Instagram photo was after he shot his girlfriend and NOT after he shot the NYPD officers. Reasonable to believe he then laces the shoes before the further incident. That flips the disinformation back to the originators of the initial conspiracy, in the sense of trying to create an issue out of it in order to smear the police further. I actually find that a more plausible suggestion in all honesty, given the atmosphere.

You are correct - the image I was looking at on the NY Post site was not displaying properly (resolution was very poor) so it looked like there were laces.
