Another EU bill - 34 billion this time....
Discussion
Auditors? The EU has auditors? Don't make me laugh. EU accounts haven't made sense for 20 years.
"EU auditors identified the sum in outstanding bills for legally binding spending commitments made by the European Commission over the last four years"
How the hell can these non-elected clowns decide to spunk money they don't have on 'stuff', then make laws to ensure noone can back out?
An EU auditor, yesterday.

I am actually starting to think that the EU bureaucracy actually are looking forward to the UK exit...
It cannot be coincidence that every time Cameron gets everyone back in line, they release another invoice...
I think they want us out before things go really sour as to keep a bit of solidarity when the st really hits the fan. It cannot be coincidence that every time Cameron gets everyone back in line, they release another invoice...
Is there any good EU news.
They also handed over 2-3 Million (they seem not sure of exact amount) with no checks against their own rules.

EU takes legal action against controversial French dam
The European commission has sent France a final notice to explain how it can reconcile EU environmental law with a proposed dam project
The Sivens dam project in France’s Tarn region has received an estimated €2-3m (£1-2m) of taxpayer money from an EU fund worth €8.5m, although commission officials say they want France to clarify the exact amount.
The project appeared to have been approved “despite the environmental deterioration of the bodies of water in question and the further deterioration that the project might involve,”

Out by £259 billion? Did I just read that right? My cheap as chips little accountant wouldn't screw things up by 259 pence. How on earth are any of these morons able to keep a job?
In fairness that is calculated over the following six years to 2020 - a paltry 43 billion per year, clearly no big deal! McWigglebum4th said:
Ermm
We did
I am only 26, so I haven't officially been asked my opinion on the EU - in fact, I wonder, how many of those who voted in favour of a common market many years ago thought it would lead to this (present day EU)We did
I wonder also, how many of the "yes" voters back then, would have maintained that vote, had they known that it would lead to our present day EU, which, I add, disgusts me entirely.
