Anyone else think there is something very very wrong with this photo?

Yes, it looks like people in a crush reaching out for a bag of grain or bottle of water when it's a st TV.

I've just got back from my local City Centre. Black Friday, Xmas market and sales. I've come back with a box of Christmas cards. I don't think I'm doing this right.

These are presumably the same people that get up at 5am on Boxing Day to buy more crap that they don't need and can't afford

Are you sure it isn't an Xbox 360? (it is on the website I looked at)
A man wheels his Xbox 360 away from crowds at Asda in Pudsey, Leeds. The retailer was selling the popular games console for £99 with two games - it usually retails for £199

It might be last generation but for £99 its a great console will play all current games.

Good for him.

Nobody is saving a penny. They are just spending less than the item would otherwise cost.

According to ttter not only were they there to capture the moment, they had paid the ladies in question £500 each to stage it.

Not even remotely surprised to be honest. This country is so fked.

Manipulating people to create a news story like that should be illegal. Low life press scumbags.

I think the one on the right is having it every day - the packet of Ginsters for a £1 that is.
