Perhaps, and how does that make you feel?
Tell me about your relationship with your mother.
Angry, apparently.Tell me about your relationship with your mother.
I'll skip over the whole "your mother" routine I'd usually post here and instead just admit I had a brain fart and confused one of your posts with camorerons.
PH is indeed a blessed place, having not just one village idiot, but on occasion, two. Oops.

Russel Brand seems very popular on this forum and in the popular press, as Chralie Sheen might say.... "Winning".
The crux of the Sun's feckwittery (and some on this thread) is the assumption Brand new how his landlords company was structured or somehow had a duty to find out before he signed his lease agreement.
It's a bit much to ask that anyone with an opinion on anything has to go through life giving every waking moment and decision in ones life Sherlock Holmesian type scrutiny for fear of being branded a hypocrite. If this was the case then surely we are all hypocrites, the Sun are surely hypocritical to ask this of anyone, given the Murdoch newspapers track record when it comes to due diligence.
I do agree in part, but in part I do not.The crux of the Sun's feckwittery (and some on this thread) is the assumption Brand new how his landlords company was structured or somehow had a duty to find out before he signed his lease agreement.

You (so far as I know!) and I are normal every day people. We have conversations and debates with friends family and on sites like this and express our opinions and thoughts. Sometimes we may even feel a little hypocritical about some of our views, but we are but a voice or two in the wilderness with little or no expectation of being called up by the Beeb or ITN et al as that evening's rent a quote.
On the other hand you are (for good or ill) a well known celebrity who even fellow celebrities think of as a bit of an attention we, who choses to put their name out there and bang the drum for a cause. In those shoes you better bloody well be squeaky clean yourself, or have shown contrition for prior judgments in the same sphere to date. Frankly if Brand possesses even half the intelligence he professes he will have know that this is the game he has willingly walked into.
I know a number of people who have been repeatedly asked to get involved in politics and other high profile areas of life, and who have refused as they do not want such intrusion in their lives as would result. Brand is one of those who has actively sought fame and publicity and must as a result take the flip side of that. He most likely hates every second of his life being laid bare, like when he sent that 'morningface' photo of his then wife out to the World but at least he can cry over his 7 or 8 figure bank balance every night.

Picking to take on a standup comedian in a battle of wits, especially one like Brand who's worked in live radio, is really quite pointless.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9H46hLibhHA
- TheSunLogic is probably going to run for a while...
