That was very interesting article, particularly how things were pieced together.

As said before, Police incompetent or very clever or driven by government?

Sometimes you get the feeling that knowing the answer is sufficient for some for the time being.

I see that bbc 2 are covering this guy’s case on Wednesday - from his ex-wife’s point of view highlighting her fight in trying to track down his millions.

bbc said:
Michelle Young has clocked up 65 court hearings and 13 sets of lawyers in her battle with her ex-husband. And 11 years on, she still hasn't given up. Michelle, aged 53, spent 18 years with Scot Young, a property tycoon who made his first millions in the 80s - but whose real fortune came from being a fixer to oligarchs and Britain's super rich. The couple had two daughters together. Both Scot and Michelle had humble beginnings - Scot grew up in a Dundee tenement block. The couple went on to have a lavish lifestyle together - country mansions, designer clothes, a different car for every day of the week. But the end came in a shocking phone call, when it was claimed that Scot had not only lost his entire fortune overnight in a big Russian property deal, but also had a breakdown - and was having an affair.

I remember him turning up at one of the places I worked at one time in a brand new Carrera GT. Let's just say that the rear tyres had been well scrubbed in wink

He was a friend of my father, I don't remember meeting him, personally.

Another person who pissed off some Russians falls out of a window.

“Just what is the truth about the brutal end of quiet British hero James Le Mesurier?”

Also, a recent Time article on some of these deaths.

“Russia Was Linked to 14 Deaths in the U.K. But Britain Looked Away. A New Book Explores Why”

I wonder if they’re now in the knowledge that they’re beyond prosecution and it’s their go to MO - like a warning card.

The message they send out is "Reveal the truth about what underhand and/or illegal things Russia carries out inside and outside its borders and we will murder you."

Yes, good for Russia, eh?

“ Corporate “ Russia don’t give a flip about its people etc . The land is now controlled by a “mafia” and they seem to be doing a good job for themselves .
