“The man known as 'Nick', who sparked the Westminster VIP paedophile scandal with a series of lurid allegations against high profile figures, has been found guilty of making the entire thing up.

Carl Beech, 51, - a manipulative paedophile himself - was found guilty of 12 counts of perverting the course of justice and one count of fraud by a jury at Newcastle Crown Court, following a three month trial.

He now faces a lengthy prison sentence, after prosecutors proved he had invented a catalogue of extraordinary lies against some of the country's most prominent names in order to claim compensation.”

Oh really ?

In light of the Epstein scandal that is only in its early stages (and revving up nicely to be a big deal) I smell a giant stinky rat over this being so publicly denied and the whistleblower being outed.

I am calling foul on this one.

Someone will be along in a moment to shout FREEMASONS...hehe
I note the smiley, but......

Do you not think that freemasonry might be in the background here?

Top-level politicians past and present...high-ranking police officers...high level judiciary...et al

The stench is overpowering.
Clearly not.

Just read he attempted to frame his own teenage son over the child abuse images he was caught with.

What a complete and utter slug.

So, the whole thing turned out to be a load of rubbish in the end. Folk did warn that this hysteria would lead to these mad witch-hunts.

The sad thing is some people died before he was proven to have made it up, and lived the last few years of their otherwise very respectable lives with that hanging over them, and their families.

All for what; a few quid, some kicks?

He should stay inside for the rest of his life, for firstly being a paedophile himself and for doing so much damage to other people's lives.

When the case went to court my first thought was , here's a sad loner that's invented a story to amuse himself and satisfy his lust for justice for his own fantasies of rape, torture, murder.

But from reading the evidence he's just a very dangerous and munipulative individual that managed to convince the plod to spend £2.5m investigating cases.

I would guess since the allegations he concocted where fairly elaborate and sophisticated and he continued to accuse and maintain the allegations for nearly 4 years he will get sentenced to 8 years, out in four for keeping his nose clean.

And this is the reason many campaign for anonymity for those accused of sexual offences.

Perhaps his traits of been a compulsive liar and severely delusional has something to do with been the child of a Vicar as he seems to share many similar characteristics as our soon to be retiring PM.

On the TV they were talking about a police investigation into the investigating officers. I feel sorry for them, they were screwed either way, believe him and it's lies, don't believe him and they are not taking victims of crime seriously.

Well some of us got suckered into that one, didn't we? And that includes me. frown

But how convenient for the police involved that this comes out the day before the coronation of Boris? So rather than find themselves under the scrutiny of the BBC and Sky this morning for wasting millions of pounds of public money and smearing the names of many right wing politicians, it appears that those news networks would prefer to spend all morning talking bks about Boris and showing footage of a lectern on an empty stage.

What a remarkable coincidence!

IMHO the police should be an awful lot more tight lipped about investigations in the future. At times, they seem to want to have their cake and eat it as far as the press is concerned.

I'm not at all sure what the truth is on the timing but I know as a civil servant (of 35 years) that the timing of absolutely anything significant (for us) is dictated by press office. It never used to be that way.

So paedophile Carl Beech had been a volunteer with the NSPCC. Another safeguarding failure where someone with a sexual interest in children gets to work with children?

Was the fraud conviction for the compensation payout some of which reportedly went on a convertible Mustang?

A Pony Car is quite fitting considering Beech's pony?

The start date of the trial was set well before the leadership contest. Without checking, the trial may have even started before May said she was stepping down.

Are you saying the end of a 12 week trial was timed so perfectly (with all the variables and unknowns that can change a trial length) by the CPS, defence, judge and jury to benefit certain people / organisations?

Seems much more likely there was a quickly-created conspiracy between everyone involved in the trial than it being a simple coincidence...

This isn’t over by a long shot, the Police have not published the results of the inquiry into the investigation and their failures appear to be manifold.

Including flying Met Police officers to Australia to interview a classmate of Beech, who Beech had told Police had been murdered.

Additionally taking 6 months to interview Beech’s wife to even check basic elements of the story (or his mother about whether he was being kidnapped and raped every Friday)

Daniel Janner (QC) is after Tom Watson and I think Lady Brittan is demanding a copy of the report into operation midland. Hogan-Howe is trying to bury it, because it show the Met to have been simply incompetent in running even a basic investigation.
